The same old shit over and over again isn't good to me. It's boring, and uninteresting. At least if the movie was halfway unique it could still suck and it'd at least have accomplished something. But even if it's 'good' it could easily go unremembered for being so bland and uncreative. |

Entirely is the key word, here.
Let's be honest. This is a reboot, and un-originality kind of inherently comes with the entire concept, so I'm not sure what you expected from this. Although maybe the fact that what we're seeing is fulfilling your unenthusiastic expectation is entirely part of the problem you have with it. Which is fair. I don't feel the same way, though. I'm pretty optimistic so far. |

Except that's not entirely true.

No, I'm pretty sure that's wrong.
Profit is all that matters, and every company will make sure to keep doing what makes money first, and that means they'll reuse and recycle whatever is popular until it's not popular. Originality is pretty much the only thing we can hold on to, because good movies will always come out using the tried and true methods, so you never have to worry about a lack of quality content. But when a movie strides for the middle, that's when they hit that perfect level of mediocrity. Suicide Squad, Age of Ultron, Ghostbusters, the TF movies, Amazing Spider-Man 2, whatever and whatever. Power Rangers is making a hard dive to hit that line, going off what info we can gather.

So... What exactly does the morpher do? The switch, I thought, closed the centre like an aperture, but the picture with the switch in motion doesn't show anything else different.
