I think part of the magic of Tokusatsu itself is the cool suits that are created and the cool "hey, a person ACTUALLY did that!" stunts (minus the wire-fu). To turn that in to animation would really dull the action scenes, which I really believe is the selling point of Tokustasu.
That being said, Power Rangers Anime probably would never get my interest. Watch it once or twice to check it out, but it would turn out to be nothing more than watching a cartoon. Look at it this way. Dragonball Z - a great action anime. Tried to turn it in to a movie, horrible. Just horrible. Power Rangers - a great action show. Try to turn it in to an anime? Just __________. I just can't see it working. |

It would lose its appeal to me. I'm not saying it couldn't be done well, but it wouldn't have the toku feel. To me, both super sentai & power rangers is filled with tradition. It may reinvent itself or try out new things, but it still has its spirit... That awesome feel when you see team work to overcome an impossible challenge.

Himitsu Sentai Goranger anime would be awesome though like that Cyborg 009 animation film that was announced.
