The 11:32 mark....did Haruto just comment that he had a banana in his, um, butt? Or was said banana just wedged into his very, very tight pants?

Watched it this morning.
Meh. Wasn't anything special. A nice message and moral at the end, so I guess I'll give it that.

Eh, it was alright. I've never thought visual comedy worked well for the series and this episode reinforced that opinion. The moral was important though I guess.
Also, I had no idea the Drago Timer lasted that long. Haruto is way too OP.

Eh, not the best, not the worst. The slapstick fell a little flat for me though. Next week looks fantastic though, can't wait to get Sora/Gremlin's backstory.

So as the wacky palate cleanser after the heavy story rolling out Infinity, I guess it's OK. Kinda cool to see Haruto use the Drago Timer for more than just mass-attacking the monster and getting trolled by Hobgoblin's bad luck power.

The visual comedy was pretty fun but other than that I can't really say this episode did much for me. One thing that stands out is why Kouskue didn't transform into Beast to help his friend out of the crashed car, it would have given him more strength and resistance to any explosions.

I could have tolerated the slapstick in this ep if it wasn't for stupid overused buzzers and ringing.I did actually find it funny when Haruto couldn't reach for his rings and said "Screw it" and just ripped off the entire ring holder to scan one ring
The whole thing between Kousuke and Tsuchiya was pretty believable.Even though there's no build up of their friendship other than the last ep,it's still good. It's a pretty real situation when a friend turns their back on you for something better and they handled it pretty well. And Hobgoblin was a pretty cool idea.It was obvious that Infinity was gonna easily dispatch him only to make him harder to beat in this ep.It allowed for a great return of the Drago Timer and gave it a much more effective use since it'll probably never be seen again as it falls under "I got this shiny new toy now,why did I ever need this thing again?" Okay episode, really want to see Gremlin's focus episode now. |
