That game is horribly, horribly addictive.

I'm currently playing Batman Arkham City.
This game is so much fun, except I do have a problem with the button combinations. Hold Back+Y to dodge knives? If someone has a gun Y changes from counter to smoke pellet? Press Right Trigger+Y over a downed opponent to knock them out? Tap Left Trigger and any face button (A, B, X, Y) or the Right Trigger to get a quick fire? That's all well and good, but why is the remote explosive an option? It does no damage, barely stuns, and only seems useful against the Grundy boss fight :I Oh, and why can't the Batclaw bring the gun to Batman? It can hold without giving way while pulling him over a frozen pool, but why can't it carry a gun from enemy to him? And no, I don't want to use the gun as Batman. But it seems kind of pointless to disarm an enemy and just drop it 6 inches away from him. It makes using it from long range pointless and at close range they can just dodge it. It feels like the game is intentionally wanting you to invest in the Disruptor...

I've been finally getting around to the Assassin's Creed series since back in November. I'm currently up to Revelations. It's good and all, but I miss Rome and all of Ezio's normal supporting cast.

Just gonna say.. why isn't everyone's answer Ys? ;P
Got a PSP? Ys I & II Chronicles, Ys The Oath in Felghana, Ys SEVEN (I'll even accept Ys Ark of Napishtim). Got a computer & Steam? Ys I & II Chronicles+, Ys The Oath in Felghana, Ys Origin. I was traveling this past weekend so I played a lot of portable stuff: Animal Crossing Wild World, Henry Hatsworth, Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity, Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles, Final Fantasy IV Complete Collection, Ys Oath in Felghana |

Got the new Tomb Raider from Gamefly today. Gonna give it a spin. I've heard good things about it. Otherwise:
Fire Emblem: Awakening Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town

As the self-proclaimed resident Assassin's Creed expert, what's difficult to understand?
Also, I'm playing Assassin's Creed 3. Again. This is probably my 17th playthrough, no exaggerations. I cannot wait for Black Flag, or The Betrayal. I want to know what happens next! Yes, I'm a huge AC fanboy. It's not actually confusing. It's just a little more ridiculous than I was expecting. I knew an alternate timeline would be... different, but I wasn't expecting spirit animals and weird powers.. As fun as the cloak is. But I finished Episode 1 already, and damn was it short! That's the most disappointing thing about it. If it had been released all at once or even if the episodes were just longer... maybe I'd be more into it. So I started playing Skyrim again now.

I still consider it the bastard child of the Assassin's Creed series though, but it's grown on me like a red-headed stepchild. Den Defense was Ubisoft's worst idea to date, so much so that I actually made sure to lock down all the Towers except one and let that one continously get attacked three times to meet the Assassin Guild requirement. And, as much as I hate to say it, it frustrates me so much I use a Trainer (Cheat Device) to make sure I win. I hardly ever cheat in games, especially Assassin's Creed, but Den Defense does not belong in these games. Quote:
Hey, I count myself as that, thank you very much.

I'm just glad I didn't pay for it! |
