I thought I'd post all my stuff here. It's over a month and a half since PMC, but for anyone that wanted more stuff, here was all mine:
This is everything I took at PMC: Slideshow: 240+ pictures of PMC I took all weekend from all 3 days: Photobucket: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v4...rphicon%202012 Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?s...7994057&type=3 Shaky Cam Videos: My favorites: My recap posts each night from Rangerboard: Friday Night: Quote:
After hours was ****ing hilariously epic.
Walter Jones was saying, "Mastadon can do its thing with the ladies if you know what I mean" JYB was like, "well, yeah, you know the frog does have a long tongue that's good for something! You know what I'm talking about ladies!" Mostly paraphrased. Then Walter said he had sex once with the Black helmet on. Catherine Sutherland also said that the "nice leaves" comments from Rocky in A Few Bad Seeds she had no idea about what they meant by it. She said she took it as an innocent comment from Rocky's character and went with it. This place is just ****ing awesome. Having SO much fun. I do want to find Decade and OmegaRangerRed. Where are you guys hiding? Mike Ginn, Jessica Rey, Jason Faunt, Reggie Rolle, Amy Miller, Walter Jones, Jason Narvy, and Paulie were the ones that were just plain amazing to talk to and very wonderful people. Reggie Rolle, Amy Miller, Mike Ginn and Jessica Rey especially were just the best people. Mike Ginn knew about the ranger keys and did his morph for me that I put the video of in the video thread. Amy and Reggie didn't even know the DVD's came out already. Reggie took a picture of a guy's booklet and then another press guy walked up and handed them to look at the Lost Galaxy case. I came in with a portfolio of ~20 pictures. About 15 of them are done. I went inside with $300 and left with $115 just from meeting with cast. I also got my Rita figure case signed. So excited tomorrow, and it's going to be a media and publicity MANIA. Saban will be there with the Samurai cast and I'm scared of what the 120 panel will be like for Megaforce. I only saw the Design and Development panel at 6 PM but it was WELL worth it. Lots of cool stuff learned like the ninja masks on the Samurai stuff was planned early for figures just as placeholders since they didn't know who the cast was, but then they just kept it. They originally had a RPM Red and Samurai Red figure pack planned for CotRR's release but scrapped it. There was also a samurai megazord helmet that opened up to hold figures planned but scrapped. The SDCC Victory Pack was released just because they wanted to release something similar to that helmet. Interesting tidbit. They're trying to get Megaforce toys to have zordbuilder functionality (AWESOME!!!!! I wanted to hug Tsuyoshi Nonaka). There was also a Lantern zord that turned into a trike vehicle, but scrapped. A guy asked if they knew that Daigoyuo could combine with the Samurai toys, and they didn't. Also a red ranger figure that could become mega, super mega and shogun was planned but scrapped. I got pics of the concept art for all of it. One other interesting thing they said was that Shinken-Oh was around $80, and to get it down to the $30 price, the biggest change to the price was removing the origami/emblem mode. Toys are expensive though for more comment stuff. I wanted some Shinken figuarts but I might just order it where it's cheaper. I also got my DVD's last night. They were in great shape. I had them shipped to the Sheraton. Quote:
Finally getting a chance to sit down and go through my pics from the last 2 days with still another day tomorrow to go. I'm only putting a ton of stuff in the pic and vid thread because of how insanely easy it is to upload to photobucket and throw links in a post.
Sitting in the lobby next to the bar on my laptop listening to Shinpai Honey Bunny and watching Jason Narvy and Dan Southworth in the bar tear **** up. What to say about today? One word? INSANE. More than I expected it to be. I thought Saturday would be crazy, but the curve ball Saban threw at us at 1:45 was unexpected COMPLETELY. I feel like it's been a long day from hell but it was a blast all day. After making a Starbucks run at 8 am and staying up all night in the lobby screwing around with new friends, we made our way in at 9 AM for the 1 hour Gold Ranger access. Was it worth it? Barely. Almost every table was empty compared to yesterday at 3 PM. So, instead I went to the Bandai booth and looked around. I started harassing them about the Shinken-Oh for a price. They guessed $80. I went over by the other side and talked about the Megaforce toys. The guy there was AWESOME. I told him I loved the zordbuilder stuff and showed him a picture of my cluster **** Samurai toys. Then since it was slow, I went over and showed the pics to the whole plex table including Tsuyoshi Nonaka. They all loved it. After that, I took out my tensouder and compared it to the Gosei Morpher. Mine had darker colors and a tiny bit bigger. Compared the Tensou Cards I had and they changed a few graphics. Then I asked the guy about the Megaforce zordbuilder compatibility. The guy said possibly and then he went behind the desk and pulled out Gosei Great US parts out of a box. He connected it to the Claw Zord. I wanted to squeal. Then he opened the case and took apart the Gosei Ground, and put its arms on the claw zord. I then asked him the names, and he told me Gosei Great Megazord and Gosei Ground. So, I left, and got autographs from Jack Guzman, walked around, saw Cerina Vincent and it was hilarious all the guys at her table. Obvious much? Jack Guzman LOVED my I <3 NY Danny and Max pic. He said to come back later for Phillip to show it to him. After that I was trying to get in the Samurai signing and they didn't arrive until 11:45. Cameras flashed suddenly all over in the corner they were in and it was crazy. I couldn't get to them in the line and was left with a ticket for later to see them. Later, we went in the Mega power panel, and they spent an hour doing a Q & A with the samurai cast, Rick and Paulie. I asked Brittany how she liked filming Strange Case of the Munchies and she loved it. She said it was tons of fun. She is absolutely gorgeous. They showed the same teaser about Super samurai we saw before. Then Paulie said, "THE MOMENT YOU HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR! A SNEAK PEEK AT MEGAFORCE!" So, we watched it. Once they shifted to the Legend war shots with the pre-zyu teams, the crowd went CRAZY and all stood up cheering like hell. I was with them, haha. SO EXCITING! But pre-zyu? Why? Then afterward, Paulie talked some more, said Megaforce was coming soon, and... Holy. ****ing. ****. The reaction to what came next was bigger than the reaction to the Legend War footage. The new Megaforce cast came up the aisles in the Goseiger suits holding their helmets. I saw 2 of them come past me, and I was seriously about to faint. I was not expecting this at all. None of them said a word and EVERYONE rushed to the front for pictures. So did I. Then they moved back and posed with the Samurai cast. Hector was taking pics with people on the side, and I didn't get a chance. I was getting goosebumps from this panel and it was just breathtaking to say the least. The new cast was just beautiful. they look small and young! I tried getting the Samurai autographs, but ran out of time and I was told to leave. I went in and Ron Rogge was there. Captain Mitchell! I walked around and Phillip Jeanmarie was there. I got the other autograph for my I < NY Max and Danny pic, plus a pic with them and recorded a video of them saying Never Give Up. They are both awesome. Jack called Phillip Andrew and we were talking to him on the phone. Awesome guys. I was getting exhausted and we went in the David Yost panel. He gave away a ton of scripts, call sheets, etc. He also morphed for us. After that, I left and went to the hotel, took a nap and when I came down at 8 PM, Paulie and Nakia were walking around outside the convention and Paulie took a pic with me. He smelled so much of vodka and smoke, haha. So, time for tomorrow! Quote:
Damn, so exhausted and sore. Crazy again. Loved it, though. Talked to Bandai about the Power Morpher early on. Posted that info in anniversary toy thread. Got Monica May, Ernie Reyes Jr's autographs early on. Went in Legacy of Power. Mostly writers/directors/VAs in it. Still fun. Ron Rogge is great. Really fun guy and told a lot of stories from filming. Though, Scott Page-Pagter was like, "What's GoGoV?" Samurai cast came in later on again. All 5 were here yesterday, but only Brittany, Hector and Najee made it. They were all fantastic people. Najee is not the idiot people make him out to be from tweets. Very nice and answered every question. He has a shodophone he bought recently that he used there. Hector is a blast. He was jumping over convention tables and doing backflips down aisles. He used my shodophone twice to do the morph. Brittany is so sweet, always smiles and is so gorgeous. She is just.....such an amazing person. There's really not enough to describe her personality. The lines for them went until after 5. They kept doing group shots so they all got pulled away from their lines for it. Hector and the others got interviewed so he was distracted for that. They all went off to the closing ceremony, also. Needless to say, Hector kept disappearing from his line when I was getting my last autograph. I got pics with them all in my thread with their ranger keys. What happened with Brittany, I felt bad. I should've went and bought a Shinkenger Ranger Key set for her. I asked her for a pic, and when we went over, I held out the ShinkenYellow key and said, "I've got something for you" I meant it as just to hold during the pic, but she looked sad when I took it back afterward. Hector said he has a ShinkenGreen Ranger Key at home. I saw the costume contest also. The Mega Voyager won. Second runner up was a female Titanium. 3rd was the 6 MMPR cosplayers. They were all fans, not Saban. The Megaforce and Samurai suits were from Saban, not the MMPR suits. All in all. I'm so glad I came. I missed an autograph from Paulie. Didn't get Dan Southworth, Alex Heartman or Erika Fong. They said Steven Skyler was busy with music, but a girl behind me said he tweeted he was with Felix hanging out. As I was walking out waiting for a shuttle, Brittany walked outside. We chatted with her for a few. She didn't know when Samurai was returning and guessed October. A guy asked her about Jayden's sister and she said she couldn't comment. Quote:
The cast loved all the pictures of specific scenes I had in my portfolio. It added a nice creative touch to each autograph.
Jack Guzman and Phillip Jeanmarie LOVED my picture of them in the I <3 NY scene in The End of the Power Rangers. Cerina saw the picture of Maya making a speech in Journey's End and was like, "yeah, she had a ton of speeches." Amy Miller saw my picture of Trakeena holding Scorpius' tentacle and was like, "That's when my father died!" Walter saw the picture of Black with Dragon Shield and was like, "Aw man, gotta show off the armor, man!" JYB picked up the Adam with broken morpher pic and was instantly, "Ohh! In Space!" Jason Faunt picked up my pic of him and Erin in "Calm Before the Storm" on the ledge and said, "I remember doing this scene, it was great!" I showed Jessica the white Wild Force ranger picture from A Father's Footsteps and she said that same shot I had was on her website and she loved the episode. Brandon Mclaren told me he remembered doing the scene of him and Monica. Brittany just kept talking about how much fun she had doing Strange Case of the Munchies when she saw the picture. She said they did multiple takes and she never knew which was used until she saw the episode. Here are the originals: http://www.mediafire.com/?2z25uyttuuvuhfi Scans of the PMC 3 exclusive booklet: |
