Been a member here for a little bit but I never did an introduction, so I'll do one!
I've recently been getting into Toku in the past year or so. Big fan of Fourze and Wizard so far, as well as Godzilla. Been trying to get into some of the lesser known Toku stuff as well (Just bought Zaboranger and Daimajin movies on BluRay). I'm probably in the minority here that I don't collect very many Toku toys, but I am a big fan of Bandai's Tamashii Nations line. I also run a website at thedaytimeninja.com where I talk about and review toys, you should check it out!

You wanna get into obscure Toku, give Ryukendo a shot(no pun intended). That show needs more fans. ;_;

A borki bork bork from Sweden!
I registered here quite a while back but never got around to posting due to various reasons. I recently decided to give it a go due to the negative atmosphere that seems to affect a lot of other fandoms these days. I'm mainly a Kamen Rider nut. I got curious about the franchise back in 09 when Decade was all the rage but the first one I actually watched was Den-O and it's still my favourite show to date. どぞうよろしく! Quote:
Apologies for posting here late. I uh, just found the thread. There are a lot of forums; easy to get lost.
Hi, y'all. I've been a Toku nut ever since I saw Dynaman on Night Flight wayyyy back in the day. I recognised similarities when Power Rangers started a few years alter, started tape trading around 94, and never really looked back. I try to keep open to everything--Toku is a lot like pizza, in that even when it's bad it's pretty good. This led to some writing about it for a fanzine, doing some Jetman fanfic and art, and ultimately blogging about it. This seems like a great community-it's good that it's a generally optimistic community that doesn't draw battle lines. I'm looking forward to contributing as much as I can. I'm mostly disposed toward the older stuff (Jetman was the first series I collected Quote:
Hey, I'm Crystal Convoy. I kept hearing about Kamen Rider and thought it looked cool, but I never bothered to check it out until recently. I decided to YouTube it and watched All Riders v. Dai Shocker and the Den-O movie with the battleship-thing, and was like: "Yeah, this is awesome." I've currently watched both episodes of Wizard and am loving it and am half-way through Kuuga and am really enjoying it as well.

Just wanted to check out this awesome forum.Nice to meet you all fellow toku fans.
for those who don't know I have done video toku toy reviews over the years under different names on Youtube such as sentai2020, and sentai2020reborn Thanks to youtube copyright crackdown they were removed, you could say that I was the first doing toku toy review talking about the toys instead of demonstrating the product in silents in the video. anyways checkout my checkout my channel, it's mostly Vlogs about Power rangers, sentai and kamen rider, you can also checkout my toku and power ranger review in my youtube channel as well http://www.youtube.com/user/sentai22?feature=mhee |
