Check it! Thanks for the pic Saban!
Also - the movie exclusive at NYCC will be the Legacy 6.5" Red Ranger Movie figure with his sword and the power coin!

Huh. Kinda looks like a skull.
Also looks awkward to wield, but at the same time do just find it pretty darn cool.

That's red ranger's weapon? I was expecting something like the original. Where are the others?

The tip looks like it might turn into a whip-sword similar to Zyuoh Eagle's Eagriser.

Hmmmm? I like it. I can't wait to see what the rest of the rangers weapons look like.

Looks really good. Keeps the vibe of the original, but also has a nice updated design to it that matches the more alien look of the suits. Should be interesting to see how the other weapons turn out. Most especially the axe.

That's what I think as well. This isn't a bad design for a blade, although fighting with it is probably unwieldy.

It reminds me more of the blade blaster than the sword... though I'm not sure how you'd get that thing to change without some CGI nonsense, and that isn't toyline friendly.

where is the handle? i know this is supposed to be big dumb alien tech. but swords need some sort of practical handle.

It makes me think of Halo. Anyone else seeing that?
I don't mind it - I kind of like it.
