Pah. The Daredevil director's cut is a great film.
Quoted for so much truth.

Yeah. It's kind of cool. It has this entire cut out portion involving a drug dealer. The Daredevil director's cut isn't half bad. You should check it out if you get the chance. Anyway, MMPR as a grim and gritty tale is something that wouldn't work at all. I'm curious to see how it'll be executed, but I don't feel dark and edgy is the right direction to take when the protagonists are a team of multicolored spandex wearing teens with attitude.

I honestly don't remember that part of the movie.
Guess I need to watch it again Anyway, I don't necessarily hate Nolan, I just feel his approach was the wrong one. He tries to paint these characters as real, then he has one guy driving around his tank with deployable motorcycle in a bat suit who speaks like he just had a scotch literally on the rocks. And then we're supposed to take that completely seriously. It's why I hope the eventual Justice League movie doesn't use Nolan's interpretation of Batman. It just wouldn't fit at all.

I'd like to roundhouse kick Nolan in the face for the Robin scene in Rises. I already hated the movie while I was watching. But that was the damn nail in the coffin.

I've yet to watch Rises.
Because, and I know I'm the minority, but I don't like Bane's mask.

That whole third film was a mess, it was like Nolan actually went away and read the comics and tried to bring his films closer to the real stories but then failed absolutely miserably at it and just ended up making another lacklustre action thriller that just had unnecessary and pointless Batman references randomly chucked around the place.
