Spoilers Ahead!
Essentially comedic while trying to get emotional. Victor and Monty are (strangely) interns of Preston's father who switches his opinion on the tree a little too quickly. Saban tends to tread carefully when it comes to real-life, but the episode emotionally described birth and loss rather realistically. The MOTW is Ripperrat's suit brother which was evidently done so they could use the Megazord Battle they cut from Ninninger Ep. 1. Oh, and Brody's Brother Returns! |

That explains why they showed just Ninja Steel Megazord this episode instead of introducing King Shurikenjin's US version.

Can this show get any cornier and more predictable with its "morals" and "lessons"?
At least we got the plot moving. |
