UltraMan Neos Episode 9: The action was amazing and hilarious here. I didn't particularly care about the kids story here but it did show they had heart. It kind of felt more original UltraMan-like the last few episodes. Well I can't wait for the last three. UltraMan Neos Episode 10: Okay so the last two episodes weren't the greatest. This episode showed me what was great about this show. The HEART team working together and trying to save their Captain was brilliant. They all worked together and UltraMan Neos and UltraSeven 21 all saved him. It was intense and all the right amounts of drama and action. This was a freaking amazing episode. Now I am back on the hype train and can't wait for the final two episodes. UltraMan Neos Episode 11: Damn that was just a brilliant episode. Once again highlighting the strength of the HEART team. Well this was a great start of a two-part finale tying back into the Zamos race and the evil leader of the Planet. He seems very powerful just from his video he sent. Anyways the HEART team fighting against the special forces and going against the government to protect the future of the Zamos race was simply amazing. The lengths Kagura went to stop them from taking him was great. Also the fight against the monster that Menschheit sent was crazy especially with Neos getting drained of his energy. Coming back and defeating was amazing, that ending was something else too. I am just hyped from this episode I can't wait for the finale. UltraMan Neos Episode 12: That was a fantastic finale! Continuing the hype from the last episode and building to epic final battle. Loved the resolve of Kagura that he was willing to sacrifice himself to save the future of the Zamos people. UltraSeven 21 and Neos vs Menschheit was great and that the Zamos alien gave up his energy to save the UltraMen was a powerful moment to me. I loved how Kagura's distraction against the CIB was just to beat the crap out of all these people lol and Uematsu and Hino coming in to save them was great too. I loved the HEART team they were fantastic. This show ended amazingly and I am sad that it's over but UltraMan does do pretty great short series. Well I am off to pick my next Ultra Series to watch but damn I loved this one a lot.

Just finished Return of Godzilla, and I have to be honest and say that I was disappointed. The first half of the film was basically "should we nuke Godzilla or not?" which eventually built up to a lot of sequences of Godzilla standing in one spot, and some close-up shots of the monster that revealed just how cheesy the suit looks. Those shots of the foot touching down on the ground are especially painful - the thing looks like it was carved out of wood and quickly painted. Then Godzilla falls into a volcano. Maybe if the pace was sped up a bit, it'd be a lot more enjoyable. I have heard that Godzilla 1985 sped things up a bit, so maybe I'll have to check it out.
It definitely occupies one of the very lowest spots on my list of Godzilla film rankings.

Just started watching Ultraman Nexus. I like it, but crunchyroll's streaming is absolutely terrible.

Just finished watching the Ultraman X movie and I enjoyed it a lot. The set-up and plot feel a bit lower stakes after the finale with Greeza, but it still manages to have a big movie-feel about it. That moment where Tiga and Ultraman appear is excellent, especially with the obvious reverence they're trying the original.
My only other complaint is that the whole X gimmick has been almost completely forgotten about. Exceed appears in the opening fight, but the only time any of the kaiju armour appears is during clips from the series itself. I understand they don't really need to flog the toys any more (and the series kinda dropped it once Exceed showed up too) but it was an element I really liked about X. The new movie-exclusive armour is pretty sweet though, especially with the weapon being a combination of Ultraman's Beta Capsule and Tiga's Spark Lens. But yeah, otherwise it's a pretty great movie that celebrates the 50th anniversary of Ultraman and the 20th anniversary of Tiga. I love Orb, but I didn't realise how much I'd missed Xio. When it comes to Ultraman big organisations will always win out with me.

Gavan Episode 23: Back to Gavan since the subs finished and I grew tired of watching as it came out episode by episode. Normal Great Gavan action and plots similar to the MotW in Garo. I continue to enjoy it.
Gavan Episode 24: Easily the best episode of Gavan. It focused more on Gavan and Mimi and learned more about them rather than random side characters of the week. It was very good and the action was even better too. More new stuff than rinse repeat. If Gavan is like this moving forward I'll be much happier. Loved Retsu's resolve of wanting to protect Earth too.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but does anyone here have raws for Seigi No Shinboru Condorman or Seiun Kamen Machineman? I've had no luck finding any on my own, so. ;~;

I don't think I've seen raws for either, apart from the random episodes of Condorman up on archive.org of all places.
