And let's not forget, the term tsuika senshi tends to be used for heroes we primarily dub sixth ranger which literally translates to additional warrior, while those such as Ninjaman, Signalman and Black Knight Hyuga, Magi Mother are categorized as bangai senshi(extra/spin-off warrior) according to those end snippets from Boukenger.
Kyoryuger is quite the exception but if I had to categorize I would say Gold is the tsuika senshi while Cyan, Grey, Violet, and Silver are bangai.

Cyan, Grey, Violet, and Silver are merely additional rangers. Bangai heroes are distinct in their specific non ranger qualities.

Jokes aside you are correct. What I meant to say was that if we were to force Kyoryuger into the conventional 6-member only format I probably would have the other four as bangai regardless of their outward appearances. Speaking of which, anyone up for the challenge to merge gold, cyan, grey, violet, and silver as 1 via photoshop?

I've recently gone through to make a spreadsheet of all the suit actors and what ranger they played in each season and I struggled with finding some of these designations. I wound up having both a "Sixth Ranger" and several "Extra Ranger" slots for some teams. I prefer "Extra Ranger" because sometimes it fits better, but also can get murky with the official "Sixth Rangers" that we hold near and dear.
