I feel like an idiot for not noticing this sooner, but I realized why Sword & Gun Form are one set: The back part of the armor is identical on both. This means they only have to include one of these pieces instead of two.
There's probably one back piece, two different fronts (Sword & Gun), plus a faceplate, belt-piece and shin plates for both. So Rod & Axe Form is another set, simply because they also only need one back piece since it is identical on both forms as well. This isn’t about which forms make sense to be sold together from a story or popularity-point of view, it’s to save costs on plastic and paint Personally, I'm fine with it. What REALLY concerns me is the new elbow joint. What do you guys think about the new elbow joint? |

One reported incident of breakage isn't enough to make me nervous, I've had Figuarts break at basic joints, it happens. It sucks regardless, but I don’t feel like doomsaying every figure that has it. |

Doesn't bother me. The technique is new and I have to see how it pans out.

While with the new elbow joint, if that single pivot joint breaks, the forearm will be disconnected from the arm. Forever. What I'll get is not reduction in friction, but a figure with mutilated forearm. This risk of failure is inherent in the structure of the joint itself, not merely material or manufacturing defect. From engineering standpoint, this kind of single point of failure is unacceptable. Well, I guess I'll just wait and see. Last edited by Zolda; 11-26-2019 at 04:07 PM.. April 2020 release, 8800¥, includes 7 sets of hands, alternate Gun Form parts (head, chest, belt, thigh-covers), 2 different Rider Passes, and finally: Separate DenGasher parts for the belt and one in Sword and one in Gun configuration.
Pre-orders go up next Monday, December 2nd in Japan! https://tamashii.jp/item/13110/ @Topic: I hope I can get this one... I actually missed out on pre-orders for OOO last time even though I was there the very second pre-orders opened |

Well, I guess I'll just wait and see. Is that the shoulder pads moving?! I was so worried the articulation would be limited by the armor because the previous pictures made it look like a solid piece. Doesnt seem like its attached to the arm like usual though.. Last edited by Waka; 11-29-2019 at 12:56 PM.. |

Ugh...why do this and Vulcan need to drop on the same day... gonna have to prioritize Den-O and hope Fuwa either sticks around for a while or shows up somewhere else later on.

If I'm not mistaken, they always go up 3PM Japan time, so you just have to convert for your time zone

As usual Hobby Search pre-orders are immediately done when I check there for anything I wanna pre-order from there and AmiAmi is giving me an access restriction notice every time I try to press the proceed to checkout button on there casue of how many people are using their site.

Ugh, HLJ has Den-O and Vulcan still listed as available to preorder but every time I check out it says the stock or price of something in my cart changed and that I need to refresh the page...but nothing changes when I do. Frustrating.
