Came across this today... wondering if anyone can help me with identifying it. It is made of die cast and plastic. Labeled made in Thailand. Any info would be useful. Thanks in advance.

That's Heavy Knight/Mega Defender, the large size/Zord form of BullBlack/Black Knight/the Magna Defender from Gingaman/Lost Galaxy.

The Mega Defender.
The Magna Defender toy that's meant to fuse with the Torozord.

That is from either Power Rangers Lost Galaxy or Seijuu Sentai Gingaman, from the Defender Torozord or GoTaurus. That's the inner figure that folds up and gets inserted into the main body.
And I guess I was beaten twice over. |

That was fast. Awesome. That would explain the tab lever device on his back to fold his arms forward. What year were they manufactored and was it a good find?

Don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure 1998/1999. You're missing the torozord that he goes with but he alone can goes for around $15 on ebay.

Cool. Thanks again for all the info. I paid a dollar for him so I'll take it and run. What I thought was cool was hat he had a sort of throwback look. And he was made in Thailand.

Those levers are for his sword slashing gimmick.

the nice thing about that figure, the BoJ release had diecast in the lower legs, while the BoA one has plastic legs
I know this since I have the BoJ one and two of the BoA ones

I had the BoA one briefly and it was light as hell. Then I got the japanerse one with the chains and diecast and all was better . The good thing is the Japanese one can be bought for relative cheap considering the age.
