I'm actually pretty impressed how far Bandai is going with the Super Megaforce toyline.
I am concerned that the two keys included with the Legendary Morpher are way too easy for kids to steal in the store. Especially in a unclassy Walmart where everything's a mess and 20% of the toys have been broken into. |

Based on these pics and Kickback's attention to detail I'm a lot for excited for these sets than I was a few hours ago.

The chest opening is better then what I assumed but that's still just 1/5th of the gimmick it should have. Looks like ShinkenGokaioh loses his arms as well as his legs too, which is sort of lame.
I'm interested if the Mobirates does make unique sounds outside of the "theme song". I might've been persuaded to pick one up if it did, to have one for PR to go along with the Sentai one, but it seems weird that they wouldn't mention the unique sounds on the box. They'd want to plug that gimmick hard if its there, I would've thought. I hope they do end up getting more girls out at one point too. I'm assuming there'll be 3-packs of the guys (plus Wind Blue) for the first couple of waves. |

I fear the key patterns may be generic. After looking at earlier key images they appear to have the same teeth as Gokai Red. Hopefully they were just prototypes but only time will tell!

Know what, the Megazord does not look half bad. The cycles Ill have to wait to see more on, but man, the Mystic Force mode looks great!

Let's make a list!
Pro's - New mechs that can combine with Legendary Megazord - Keys have something to scan for use on an app - Plenty of previous season themes in motorcycles, etc., all of which combine on to the Legendary Megazord Con's - The gimmick of GokaiOh (turn key, things open up, etc.) seems to be lost to the Zordbuilder of "snap it on" - Keys look to all be non-unique, meaning each key is different only in the Power Ranger attached to it, but it doesn't do anything special/different in the Megazord or Morpher Let's keep it going.

Another "Pro" being that this Legendary Megazord can combine with previous Mecha, thanks to Zordbuilder, giving many new combination possibilities and creating your own "Legendary Power."
Also, I think the lost "ability" to open up might actually be a boon. I've heard stories of Gokai-Oh just opening up whenever it felt like. Lastly, as another "Pro", aren't the keys spring loaded? EDIT: Aww, I was hoping for a bit of difference with the Red Battlezord Vehicle, but it's just a remold of the Patstriker. I'll still get it though, nice that they got some Zeo in there. If the keys are generic, then I wonder how that "Collect all 5 to unlock the theme song" gimmick works. If it's just a timer that plays the theme song on the fifth key turn then I'll be quite disappointed. After the Gosei Morpher I have higher expectations of BOA.
