Just to be sure, I refrained from creating this thread for quite a while, but I'm a bit concerned now.
The past two series of Super Sentai saw significant issues in quality control in some mecha, especially with toys with clips. The GT-02 Gorilla and Gabutyra from Go-busters and Kyoryuger, respectively, have had widespread issues with their clips breaking. For me, I'm starting to get a bit worried that this marks a decline in quality control that Bandai of Japan is so famous for. Are the remaining mecha in Kyoryuger, like Bragigas, safe? Did they improve with Tobaspino? More importantly, what if next year's Tokkyuger features mecha that break too? Do you guys think there's any reason to be concerned?

Has any other line showed quality issues? I've heard nothing in Kamen Rider.

While I own both of the figures mentioned and hate the fact that their clips did in fact break, I don't think this signals any sort of mass decline in quality. The Gorilla and Gabutyra are the only issues I've had in the last 2 years. Though I know some people who've broken their Beet and PteraidenOh clips too. That's yet to happen to me. There was a decent amount of fan outrage and written complaints to Bandai over this issue, I'd have to imagine they won't repeat this design flaw with Tokyuger.

This isn't the first time clips were used, why do you think it's only in the last two lines that we're seeing so many issues?

Possibly underestimating the amount of force a child would use?

Remember Hurricaneger/Ninja Storm from 2000/2001? Almost all of the mecha had really fragile clips/parts in both the BoJ and BoA releases.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems to be that there are some toys or lines throughout Super Sentai toy history that have had issues. Megaranger's Megavoyager, Timeranger's mecha, Hurricaneger's and now Go-busters and Kyoryuger. Hopefully, these remain incidences rather than trends.

Yeah, my Hurricane Dolphin cracked while transforming it, because there isn't enough space inside the dolphins body to give clearance to the tabs on its tail. I was devastated.
