At the 2012 Licensing Expo, Saban featured merchandises of Power Rangers Megaforce by Mega Bloks. Following the history of adapting various Power Rangers titles into the building block toy format, Power Rangers Megaforce was no exception, The public would be finally be treated to a fully articulated Gosei Great (Megaforce Megazord?) Looks like the bike riders are in more powerful suits like we got with the Samurai Rangers. Seems like if Saban finds the Japanese costumes silly, they invent better ones. I like this approach. I always thought the ranger costumes from this series looked goofy.

These new mini figures look kinda odd next to the blockier Samurai ones, but it's not bad. Hoping they're articulated like the Halo figures.
Also looking forward to the main line reveals. |

Dang. Pretty surprised that these got revealed before the DX toys.
I also think that the minifigures look really weird. And when it comes to building block toys, those are major draws. But the mechs themselves actually look pretty good. I'm sure they'll be fun builds. And the Headers lend themselves perfectly to building toys, so if those aren't incorporated (and looking at the arms I'm not too sure...) that'll be a huge miss. |
