Have you checked Facebook yet? They are going usually provide the raw for Amazons. Just type 'Kamen Rider Amazon's and you are good to go.

Anyways, err.....what? I enjoyed the episode (at least what little I understood due to lack of subs) but some of the storytelling decisions left me shaking my head. The Mamoru stuff seems bizarrely disconnected from Chihiro and Iyu's plot, yet there's so many ways to tie it together (you know, outside of Jin being present for both of them). Again, maybe seeing the subs will piece everything together better but right now it doesn't feel like the Mamoru stuff was well-integrated into the overall plot other than providing closure for his character arc. And then they don't even show the 2v1 Rider fight? The one where the main character DIES?! That's seriously horseshit. I think everybody will agree of all of the things in the Episode 13 preview, that's what we were all looking forward to and they completely dropped the ball. I'm not sure if it was because of budget constraints or what, but that was hella weak. I'm 99% sure that the after-credits scene with Tachibana is setting up a new season/series. I'm leading towards a new series entirely because I just don't know how they can take Amazons' plot any further. It would seem that all of the Amazons besides Omega and Alpha are dead or at least on the verge of dying out since they no longer have a safe haven. I'd imagine we may see Jin and Haruka in said new series, even if it's just a cameo, but that we're moving away from the Amazons theme. Overall, this episode was just not a strong finale for what's otherwise been a great series.

I was not happy with the final fight being cut and not knowing if Neo Amazon live or die after the battle.
Season one final was much better than season 2. |

Anyway, I'm sorry if I turn your guys hope for another season. See, the possibilities of having another season of Amazons is pretty slim, maybe not even reach 20%. There're several factors of it if I make a little theory: -First of all, the letter. Let's be brutally honest, how can they make another season if the alphabet letters are already used up all of them? After all, this is Amazons biggest trait. Still, it's not the strongest argument since Toei could just rip off the alphabet elements or make a complete awkward alphabet like in Excel e.g. AA, AB, BB, CD. -Second, it seems that the budget for Amazons aren't so big and good. You could just see that they even can't make a proper suit for Chihiro's Amazon form. I'm highly sure that it's just Amazon Neo with a new head, or at least they used Sigma's body and the new head for creating a new Amazon form. The six arms and tendrils are highly a CGI thing. This might also be the reason why the can't show the final fight with Chihiro. Seeing the budget is rather low, it's hardly to expect for a new season for Amazons. -Third, while it's indeed Tachibana said something about a 'new Sigma' project, I don't think it will be a strong basis for a story in another season. This is also the problem with Season 2. The main basis of the story is Chihiro is a dangerous Amazon and needs to be exterminated. But, it drags..... so much in this season. You could basically cut half of Season 2 and you won't still lose so many things about Chihiro and Iyu. Maybe for a movie, the Sigma story might still be used well and not dragged so much like Season 2 but as a season, I don't think so. That's all I could find an argument why Amazons can't be made to another season. Don't get me wrong, I still love Amazons and I'm still hooked up if there's another season. But, the chance of it is pretty slim. Still, for a theory, I do think that Tachibana's words regarding the new Sigma might won't be good. He might want to turn people into a mindless puppet, just like Iyu, hence why he makes another Sigma project. The last shot with the urban city just strengthens this theory too.

He's definitely dead. You can see Jin holding Chihiro and Iyu's neo amazons registers at the end. Jin is depress that he's still alive and alone in the end. I guess Jin and Haruka are out hunting the infected humans since Tachibana is planning to create more Sigmas again to help him finish the job. If there's no season 3, then there might be a v-cinema movie that complete the story. The humans that are responsible for the Amazons creation are still all alive.

I liked it, but I do feel like the spark is gone by now, the last few episodes did feel a bit exhausting to me. I really hope they don't do a season 3 and focus on something new next.
Maybe a Rider show for adults that isn't full of gore and has a depressing filter on all the time. |

I have to say, despite some flawed storytelling, I like what this season was trying to do.
Chihiro becomes the end game final boss. And that's freakin' mindblowing considering he was our protagonist for the majority of the season and seemed like a standard heroic Rider, fighting monsters and being fairly noble. Then it goes downhill. We basically find out he's a living virus and then EVERYBODY in the show starts gunning for him, which causes him to be concerned with his survival, as well as Iyu's. This whole season, we basically watched the hero become the villain, and only because he was back into a corner. And the most heartbreaking part of it is that NONE of it was within his control. In fact, it's also a key part of Jin's development. Chihiro's suffering, and all of the events surrounding it, are the direct result of his actions. And that's one thing that Amazons has the freedom to do. Because normally with that type of story arc in a Kamen Rider show, the Rider would gain control of his powers, convince everybody to his side and ride off into the sunset with the other two Riders to tackle the next big bad. But here? Nope, it's just all tragedy for Chihiro.

I spent a big portion of this season unsure whether I liked it or not, and while I think it took a long time to find its footing (which might have partly been the aim thinking about it) I came to really like it. Perhaps not as much as season one on a pure enjoyment level, but I definitely went away thinking about this season more after each episode.
It was such a well done tragedy. There was no real heroes (apart from the past extermination squad I guess but even they acknowledged they'd messed up letting Mamoru out of their sight), just people who'd either made mistakes of varying severity or monsters born into circumstances they had no control over. Watching all the varying plot threads from the first season come together to spiral in this horrific mess was really bleak. While I agree with the sentiments that it's a bit disappointing we never got a proper look at Chihiro's true Amazon form, I honestly didn't mind that we never got to see the final battle. It's a bit of a Kuuga situation for me where it didn't need to be seen to have the intended impact. So yeah, a slow start but a great finish. I kinda hope they do more but at the same time I also hope they know when to stop. (New Omega still looks dreadful though)
