Ace makes me think this is what would happen if a Gundam and a Transformer had a baby and was live-action...and good.
Soild first episode. Keep up the style and it should be a fine series. PS "LET'S DRIVING!" I love Engrish somethings |

That was an amazing episode! The pace was electrifying. Just one episode in and I can already feel the gravitas in this season. Did they increase the budget or something?
Is it just me, or does this feel like they're trying a LOT of new things with Super Sentai? From Kamen Rider style henshins to a very distinctively new style of cinematography. The new style of filming mecha battles is breathtaking, it really immersed me in the heat of the battle, and I have to say this is the best mecha battle I've seen in years. For once the mecha don't just feel tacked on. Even with just a sliver of characterization, we already get a glimpse at all the characters' personalities. I sense big things for the character development. Overall, a mightily impressive first episode that had me at the edge of my seat. I absolutely cannot wait for episode 2, and kudos to Harorangers for subbing episode 1 so quickly!

I was...Thoroughly unimpressed...
I found the end credits to be more interesting than the episode itself... |

I think the bunny rabbit is like the rejected love child of Pikachu and R2D2.

Just watched the sub. I watched the RAW earlier in the day and what a world of difference the subs make That was just a fantastic episode. Really digging what they've done with this one. The fight scenes were fantastic and I'm not sure if anyone else noticed this but the Busters have the perfect Suit voices. They're voices fit those costumes very well. Pleased all around. Haorangers didn't have the perfect sub but I still enjoyed it immensely.

Didn't like the goofy spy music during unmorphed battles.
Loved the lack of stock footage for henshins. Loved the use of helmetless scenes (more in this episode than in all of Gokaiger). Loved the mech battle. Epic. Unsold yet though. Need to watch the sub. |

A sub of ep1 won't really help all that much. You'll probably need to watch episodes 1 and 2 subbed to get a better picture.

I'd give it at least five. The beginning is definitely less in-your-face crazy than Gokaiger, but I still think this show is going to turn out to be pretty cool.
