Uh-oh. I just figured out that I can relatively easily obtain some Re-Ment stuff. I ordered a table-and-chairs set, as well as a donut-themed blind box. (I can only pray it includes plain sugar.)
I blame Kamen Rider Beast, who comes with a bottle of mayonnaise and some appropriate hands. Clearly, he needs a donut to terrorize. (Sadly, Wizard can't join him at the table, since he can't sit.) I'll share some pictures if it turns out not-disastrous. |

Well, I've experimented with some potential accessory purchases with mixed success. I picked up the Re-Ment Cafe Table and Chairs set, two of the Re-Ment Donuts to Go! blind boxes, and a full set of the Orcara Fruit and Drinks.
I'd had high hopes for the Re-Ment accessories (Wizard donut diorama PLEASE!), but they're not quite Figuarts-scale: everything is a little too large. In the image below, the Re-Ment items are the table, chairs, Puchi Donuts bag, and everything on the orange tray. You can see that the chair is a little too big for Zangetsu. His feet don't touch the ground, and the seat it a little too deep; I had to pose Takatora in a slouch. (Duke and Marika's designs complicate sitting, so I didn't attempt it.) So the donuts weren't quite a success. The beverages from those boxes are cool, but look cartoonishly large compared to the New Generation Riders. From the images I've seen, one of the ten different donut blind boxes contains mini-donuts that might be the right scale, but I wasn't that lucky. (One of the two boxes I picked up was the only one in the set to contain no donuts.) The Orcara miniatures (everything you see on the table that's not on the tray) are a much more appropriate fit to Figuarts size. Not perfect, but close enough that I don't really mind. I bought the entire set (about $25 on Amazon with shipping!) and I'm really very pleased. I only put a few of the items from two of the boxes into that photo. The boxes in that set include melon, peach, banana, apple, mango, pineapple, grape, strawberry, pears, and a few I don't recognize. These tend to contain both the full-sized fruit and then one or more sliced versions. The beverages - aside from a GIANT bottle of some kind of peach juice - are much closer to Figuarts size, and no less nifty or detailed than the Re-Ment beverages. The downside for Gaim enthusiasts? The set doesn't contain orange, lemon, or cherry! Gaim, Sigurd, and Duke will be so disappointed. Nevertheless, I'm going to need to set up a Gaim display with the Orcara miniatures. I'll take more photos if anyone's interested. (Also, forgive the low quality of this shot. This is my first time at something like this.) |

Re-ment doesn't have an official scale but it's definitely not 1/12. It's probably more in scale for japanese dolls. Furniture wise, hasegawa makes 1/12 model kits and max factory has some figma ones. There are a few other companies as well.

I did look over Hasegawa based on something you'd posted a while ago, although I didn't find any standalone furniture in my initial search. I'll revisit at some point. As it is, I may look more closely at Orcara, since I'm wondering if they generally run a little smaller. I'll let you know if it turns out Baron can actually hold the little half-peeled banana from this set. (Also, I love so many of your photos!) |

Oh, hey, you did those great Re-Ment reviews! Thank you/I blame you! There did seem to be a few of the 80's Home items that seemed roughly appropriate for Figuarts Kuuga (although he's also slightly larger than most Figuarts I own), like the TV and remote control. I confess that I really didn't pay attention to the food scale in those photos, although I should've.

I've been meaning to get some of the orcara sets but the ones I want are all sold out on amiami. I like re-ment because they offer licensed sets which I find really neat. I'm a big fan of 3gatsu no lion so I grabbed both of those, and have the grandma and grandpa set along with the kotatsu coming next month.

So at Target there are these "L♡ri" dolls and one of the items in the series is this nifty Figuart-scaled loft. Also a ballet studio if you want to go all GigaBeetle and have Ouja doing a pirouette. |
