So, whatever happened to all the living robos after Gokaiger? Since they seemed kind of, well...Dead after the great war, and they even confirmed that, for Gaoranger, only GaoLion survived.
So, like, unlike others, those can't just be rebuilt. So are they just dead dead? That being said, if one treats Sentai as an overarching continuity, then the answer can get a little weird. The Engines of Go-Onger were shown to be alive in Gokaiger and that likely extends to all of the series "Mecha". When Ninjaman appeared in Gokaiger, he was surprised that he hadn't been released on time, but Gai said the Legend War was the reason. When Ninjaman left them, he decided to visit his Masters, suggesting that they might be alive albeit de-powered, but that's speculation. The 199, Go-Busters VS. Gokaiger, and Kyoryuger VS. Go-Busters suggest the existence of duplicates and Gokai Changes. Space Squad suggests that DekaWing Robo is still available for combat, and since that follows Dekaranger 10 Years Ago, Dekaranger Robo and DekaBike Robo are also available for combat. It's known that there is some behind-the-scenes material which suggests that most Sentai Mecha were destroyed, but exactly which Mecha is unclear. As far as the Gaoranger Power Animals are concerned, they all died once in their own series, so I don't know if a possible demise by Zangyack is permanent. Magiranger become their "Mecha", so if the team lives, so does MagiKing and MagiLegend. Gekiranger "Mecha" are extensions of sorts of the team, so GekiTouja and GekiFire are probably fine. The Gosei Headders were the 'Ultimate Power' of Goseiger and can recreate Gosei Great when used by the their team. Dairanger and Gingaman have gaps as to whether their 'Living Mecha' are still around or have to be recreated! Best I got at the moment. |

And while not exactly a butterfly, MagiFairy is technically one.

I recently came across a comment (not on any Tokunation Thread) which suggests an interesting rumor (with no supporting evidence): Adjutant Booba of Changeman served as inspiration for...Predator!?
The OG Predator was a lizard-like suit which was replaced by the version that fought Arnold's character in the finished version. There are some design similarities between Booba and Predator, and since Changeman was released in 1985, that would also lend some degree of chronological credence since Predator was released in '87. Is there any genuine validity to this? Did someone involved in the Predator design (or re-design) crew visit Japan and see Changeman? |

I'd like to see a humanoid mecha based on Hercules and Auriga constellations.

Did EVERY writer/producer/concept artist who worked on classic '80s Sci-Fi visit Japan!? If even heard (but never confirmed) that George Lucas based Darth Vader off of Hakaider from Kikaider! |
