I've started reading Ultimate Spider-Man.
... So, basically, Peter's entire story (in addition to that of the rest of the Ultimate Marvel Universe) takes place over the course of a little over a year? I mean, I know it's a comic book, but... really? What, is a year 730 days long over there? Bendis idea was that 100 issues = 1 year. |

Its not like other comic don't have this issue either. Just look at all of the Batman titles in DC. Their connected by events like the Night of Owls but whats the time scale here?

Then again, it is quite plausible for a 15-to-16-year-old boy to survive for over a year and a half hopping around in spandex and fighting super-powered thugs with guns before getting killed. |

I think we should have a poll on which is the best Marvel movie.... If it was the beginning of March, I would call in Marvel Madness, but I guess we can have it in the same format. Here is a list of Marvel Movies that we would use in the brackets.
Fantastic Four (1994) Blade (1998) X-Men (2000) Blade II (2002) Spider-Man (2002) Daredevil (2003) X2: X-Men United (2003) Hulk (2003) The Punisher (2004) Spider-Man 2 (2004) Blade: Trinity (2004) Elektra (2005) Fantastic Four (2005) X-Men: The Last Stand (2006) Ghost Rider (2007) Spider-Man 3 (2007) Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007) Iron Man (2008) The Incredible Hulk (2008) Punisher: War Zone (2008) X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) Iron Man 2 (2010) Thor (2011) X-Men: First Class (2011) Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengence (2012) Marvel's The Avengers (2012) The Amazing Spider Man (2012) Iron Man 3 (2013) The Wolverine (2013) Thor: The Dark World (2013) Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) So... Is anyone up for this? Last edited by thunderstrike541; 04-14-2014 at 08:23 PM.. |

Days of Future Past looks like horseshit.
Thoughts on the latest trailer: Its yet another centerpiece on Wolverine while all the other potentially more interesting characters stay mostly in the background. And is that all the background we get for Quicksilver? "I know a guy?" I know he's being shoved into this to spite the MCU edition but they could at least TRY, couldn't they???? Plus it really seems like everything from "First Class" has been swept under the rug, as if that movie's something to be ashamed of. Beast doesn't have fur, Xavier can walk and Magneto's in custody again. |
