I thought that fad died off back in 2012.

Honestly, as soon as an anime or even a western cartoon get enough of a fan base, someone will try to make an abridged series, and sometimes it might actually be good.

I feel like every anime has a abridged series on Youtube even stuff like Bible Black does. Most abridged stuff I see are okay, but I don't mind TFS.

So I think either I have comically low standards, or the Digimon fanbase at large and I have very different opinions on what qualifies a show as good. Cause. I thought Frontier and Savers were prefectly good shows, and I'm now 12 episodes into fan unfavorite Xros Wars, and I don't really see anything wrong with it either. I'm enjoying it well enough. The mechanics are a little different, but it couldn't be more Digimon in spirit if it tried, which is I think what matters. It's alright.
Only thing that's a bit iffy is that the main character is a bit too perfect, and they haven't done the best job contrasting that with any real flaws beyond how he ends up overexerting himself as a result of his good samaritan tendencies. But it's not terrible. Anyway, Blastmon is pretty much amazing. |

Just a heads up; Tri's third part premieres in Japan on September 24. I am only letting you know as a common courtesy; I fear it'll be more boredom even with the threat of Meicrackmon and corrupted Birdraman and Togemon

thing is withwitll an digimon dedicated forum site im member off does not show that and i never ead any hate of the dub. i think it in the mix. i think fan more fond of it due to it was childhood and it getting englishdub now is more nestalgia and they want orignal cast granred we got all the digimon va back minus 1 for the rookies.
Both series are from Toei and have merchadise control by Bandai which is why I compare the two. They also have the same audience (kids) and where popular in the US when they used to air on TV with new episodes.

Man I didn't think I'd enjoy Cyber Sleuths as much as I am. The story is pretty awesome, which I wouldn't expect from a Digimon game.
