If you missed out on the original release then here's a second chance to grab one!
Tamashii Web exclusive December 2016 release, 9504 yen. The figure is also confirmed to be a (minor) repaint and not just a straight re-release. Full story and image gallery

Yeah the burning spots are different as I suspected.
It looks nice and I could use the smoke effects but I don't feel like paying for a Web-Exclusive currently. I also would like to see at least one new SHMA this year that isn't a Godzilla. I get that they're playing it safe but there's so many great monsters to make into figures. |

I wish the smoke effects looked less tissue-papery like they do in these pics. They do look better than that previous screenshot we saw where they looked closer to bubbles.
Yeah there are still non-Godzilla Millennium kaiju they haven't done yet, or one from Gamera's films. If only Godzilla sells, even as an exclusive, I'll be a bit surprised they brought the line back for this. |

When is Bandai going to showa some love? It's time for them to get off the Millennium train and make some damn Showa monsters. Anguirus, Mecha G74, Hedorah, King Ceasar, Mothra, Rodan, Ghidorah, etc. At this point, they should just call it Godzilla HeiseiArts.

Also, this is a Heisei figure. And so far this year we actually had one Godzilla of each era: The Godzilla from the first movie for Showa, Ultimate Burning for Heisei, GMK for Millennium and the new Shin Godzilla for 2016. Also that crazy EVA repaint and the "My little Godzilla really speaks and sings!"-figure, but yeah. So why do you think Bandai's riding the "Millennium"-train currently? The only train they're on is the "We only do figures of Godzilla now"-train I realize of course that they did a lot of Millennium figures before the hiatus, but that train has departed long ago. As far as your point goes though I agree, more Showa would be cool. |

Um... weren't you complaining about too much Heisei recently? Why Millennium all of a sudden?
