Only 13 episodes, and for 40 dollars, with some sites listing it for 25. Yea no. I'm passing on this. And I was so excited for it too.

2. You do know that is average for Japanese products, right? For example, I just paid $70 for all 26 episodes of Outlaw Star on BD. 3. You do know Garo is a niche market, right? They have to sell it for what is going to make them a profit. You should be buying it to support an officially released Toku series in the US. |

They make more money by doing Collection 1 and Collection 2 these days. I take it over paying a single VHS or DVD volume like we did in the 90's and even in the 2000's ($35 for a VHS tape with two episodes was a thing back in the day for most of us).

And it's started. The people on Facebook are whining about how it is unfair for Nihon to take down their subs because of this release.

1. You do know that price is SRP, right? It will end up being $25 when it actually comes out.

But at least you are getting the full series, unlike with this. 3. I'm aware, doesn't negate the fact they are swindling you. No one is going to buy this, sales will be poor and you won't get the second half. I know I'm not buying it. Just because it's toku and it's released in the US doesn't mean I have to support it. Not when I know it's a ripoff. They should have released the whole series at a 40 dollar price tag, and then I would have bought it. They should make the whole thing available at an affordable price, so maybe more people would have checked it out. And if they wanted to split it up, this should have been priced at 15-18 bucks. I'm not in the late 90's or early 2000's anymore. I want my whole series to be on one disc or one set, and they are more than capable of doing that now.

This'll wind up on Amazon US right? I'll buy it but I'd just rather import it from there than Right Stuf.

Awesome, I'll be buying that. Only downside is I would have to buy another Blu-Ray player if I wanted to actually watch it though which kind of sucks.

I don't have a huge interest in Garo, but I'm definitely picking it up to support the toku fan base🎉Even with the higher price
