I really need to finish season 2 of Amazons. I drifted away from it a little and just never got around to getting back. I only have about 5-6 episodes left, it's just hard to get excited about going back to more Chihiro.

I made it up to about episode 13 last night. Halfway through the series I think.
Serial Killers and Cannibals and Turn-Coats, oh my! I couldn't believe they had a serial killer just sit down on top of the female team member and repeatedly punch her in the face like...seemingly 10-15 times. Her face was totally battered. He knocked her out a couple times and would keep coming back to her to beat on her some more? That was some craziness! ..then the team takes the moral high ground of, "oh he's not an Amazon monster so we'll just walk away and leave him sitting here because killing a human crosses the line." Hell no,..that guy is a monster. That's what bullets are made for. They should've opened up his neck and left him there to bleed out. I couldn't believe they just walked away. Anyways, onto things I do enjoy, my boyfriend and I started watching Blade, up to episode 10, and yeah I like it so far. The suits are absolutely great, and I can't wait to see more. |

Nope. They just left.
I'm not saying I'd kill him in and put his corpse in the trunk of one those junkyard cars,... ...I'd make him get in the trunk first. That's way less work than moving a body. Maybe it's cultural differences. I don't know. I didn't understand why 'Mo' (the amazon) let himself be chained to the car and just watched her get beaten when he could've broken the chains and just thrown that guy 100 feet in the air and let him land wherever in a crumpled mess. I mean first the guy is clubbing her head with that metal rod, then he actually sits on her and just starts pummeling her face over and over,..and Mo just sits there and watches? (I can't remember that Amazons name, the hamburger eating one.) And the team once finding her with her face totally smashed in just gets her and walks away? Made no sense to me. Maybe it's my American thinking of wanting justice and punishment, but I couldn't wrap my head around that one. You find a serial killer like that, you remove the sick animal from society so it can't hurt anyone else. ...then again it's just a tv show so I'm probably reading more into this than I should. Most tv shows can't make me want to yell at the tv,..so I guess it's a pretty good show. Hahaha Last edited by KaijuUltraFan; 11-02-2017 at 01:33 PM.. |

Rewatching Black as it is 30 years of the series this year and as well watching Build in between. More Build than Black as it is more casual.

Currently watching Episode 38 of Kamen Rider Blade. Yeah, I've kind of been binge watching it in my free time recently. Feels almost like a completely different show for the last 8 episodes, probably because of the different opening and the head writer change but I'm now genuinely curious as to the reason why this show changed writers and it's opening midway through the series. I haven't found anywhere that has stated the reason before and was wondering if anyone really knew. Either way things are just getting so much more intense and it feels like there's so much more on the line.
This show may have taken a while to really explain itself but the plot twists are generally interesting even if the arc surrounding the King Form is by far better written than the rest of the show so far imo. Also, after everything that's happened Amane is still oblivious to everything that's going on...

Well maybe it'd help to try and get excited about going back to more Haruka instead? Chihiro never stops being important, but the story definitely starts to come back around to the season 1 characters a lot more in the back half.

Not really. Haruka never did a good job of maintaining my interest.
