Between a cameraman who is destined to be the Destroyer of Worlds and a high school student who desire to become The King, which one do you tolerate the most?
Those two characters are divisive among Rider Community but if you have to pick one, which one do you prefer? |

I personally prefer Sougo because he have a charm personality and more friendly than Tsukasa
Of course, his future self is tyranny ruler but I really love he trying to prevent evil king path.... Tsukasa is not worst Kamen Rider character but his series is the worst Heisei Kamen Rider Series in my opinion. Even Wizard and Ghost have better story than Decade in my opinion... But, I really love Tsukasa's role in Zi-O. He is one of most interesting Legend Rider in Zi-O.... Last edited by Blade Fang; 04-06-2020 at 07:22 PM.. |

Even ZX point this out in net movie as he was the shortest Showa rider with a television special and didn’t get his own show like other riders. |

The last two episodes in Decade are really rushed..... I think the story should be focused in Decade's World from episode 24 until episode 31...... Last edited by Blade Fang; 04-06-2020 at 07:33 PM.. |

Tsukasa.
Not because I like him, but because he's at least not as mind bogglingly stupid as Sougo.

Tsukasa works better as a supporting cast role than a main character role.
So honestly I prefer Sougo a lot more tbh, dude's just good. Probably doesn't help that I'm tired of everyone putting Tsukasa/Jinga on a pedestal whenever Zi-O/Garo is talked about, so that probably has something to do with it. |

Sougo not because Tsukasa bad or anything but I just feel like Sougo has more agency in his own story than Tsukasa ever had.
With Tsukasa he just accepted his role as the Destroyer of Worlds never once defending himself or trying to change that fate. Wheras Sougo has always denied becoming Oma Zi-O up till the very end of the show. And also I feel like when Tsukasa went on a rampage and killied all the other Riders then dying a complete antithesis to what Kamen Rider is all about. Which is taking the powers of evil and using it to protect people. So when Sougo became Oma Zi-O in the finale that was completely in line with the ideas of what Kamen Riders are as he may have been Oma Zi-O but Sougo wasn't a tyrannical ruler every one said he was when he did become Oma, rather using his powers to restore the timeline back to how it was. Note I don't hate Tsukasa I just feel Sougo had more of a complete story/growth throught there respective seasons in comparison

Hmmm...it's a bit hard to pick between the two as I can tolerate 'bad writing' much more than most people but I'm gonna pick Decade just because how fun he is to watch.
Decade's a total scumbag with a heart of silver; he makes some really jackass decisions at times (like teaming up with the Time Jackers) but at least his character is consistent throughout his appearances. Honestly, most of Kamen Rider Decade's (the show's) fault is that the A.R. worlds are more boring thatn linoleum flooring. Zi-O is cool, but he's kind of bland. You can see his internal sufferings of wanting to be a king while trying to prevent becoming Ohma Zi-O. The execution of said internal sufferings though is complete giraffe s**t. His motivation for becoming king in the first place was because Swartz told him he'll be king. All he really wanted was the power to protect people, and him viewing everyone as subjects was just a way to shoe in the whole king shtick. So yeah, Decade's character is great mostly because its consistent. Zi-O, also cool, but not as great due to poor writing. Zi-O reminds me more of an isekai protagonist than an actual hero: friendly, semi-perfect everyman who gets all the cool powers. Although in Zi-O's defense he's still more interesting than most isekai protagonists these days. Hmmm...that might not be such a terribly bad idea actually. Someone pitch Toei the idea of a Rider isekai series immediately. We'll have Kaixa hit by a truck and everything. |
