Do we know what hands he's coming with by the way? The descriptions notes a whopping 5 extra pairs of hands, plus a 6th left hand (or right hand i can't remember); but all the pictures I've seen so far have only used fists, chop/ray and 'clawed' variants.
I'm not saying I desperately hope he comes with a thumbs up hand to go with Kuuga or anything because I know that won't happen, but I'd really like to see all his hand options! |

This has been a really weird release, one of the weirdest even for Shinkocchou Seihou standards I've experienced. It sold out faster than just about any retail release on AmiAmi and HLJ is just a total crapshoot of whether you can find it on their site in time for it to be available at the best of times. But a lot of the other sites so far just don't seem to have even made pre-orders live yet.
I signed up for alerts on Nin-Nin-Game and Okini Land before release, and neither one has sent out alerts or opened up the orders. Nippon-Yasan, regardless of how they've been with shipping orders lately, hasn't even put Tiga up. So what gives, I wonder? Is this the PS5 of Figuarts? |

It's also the first ever Seihou Ultraman release, so there is that. Add in the heavy marketing campaign just beforehand and all the advances such as soft parts etc...
Still a bit unusual mind, but there's something there.

That's what I mean, though; you'd think stock would be WAY more plentiful because of his popularity. It's not just a case of it selling out quickly, which I expected. It just plain wasn't readily available at a lot of the usual places.
I'm hoping it'll be more like the likes of Den-O and OOO when it comes to actual retail, in that the pre-orders sold out quickly and that store fronts actually receive plenty of stock instead. It might make the aftermarket price a little more reasonable than the likes of Kuuga and W. EDIT: And now Nin-Nin-Game have put the pre-orders up for a modest and fair ¥11,490. Never change, N2G.
