I mean, the short answer is "whichever show has the most dinosaur-themed costumes", right?
My pick, for similar Shit Kids Love reasons, would be Drive. I think a car aesthetic makes for pretty appealing toys, the main dude's red, and the secondary Rider is basically Speed Racer. Add in a Driver that speaks English, and you've got a decent framework for an Americanized Kamen Rider show. Last edited by Mmicb0b; 07-09-2020 at 07:55 PM.. |

Maybe something from the 2010s would be best seeing as the 2000s are starting to seem properly old now. Not sure whether I'd want one I like or try and make something bad into something really good, plus shows like Zi-O technically could work as a way of introducing the unseen riders.
If it's going to be an adaptation, why does it always have to be US though? Maybe a shorter British adaptation on ITV or something could work and might be more suited to the darker and more realistic themes! |

Now this is something I'd actually be into. Adapting it as a straight up sci-fi/action show instead of stripping out all of the deeper themes to make it palatable to kids.

Honestly, I think people just want official subs. At most, a completely unique "western" Rider using Toei themes and concepts with western budgets. (I say western just to mean, English speaking characters for the world at large).
Its too much work and too risky to try an adaptation. Especially in a world that is so connected. An adaptation is just a google search away from feeling like an after-thought. |

Zero-One, bar none. Kabuto is too old to use the Toei footage and what better way than to adapt a show that keeps the iconography of a classic Kamen Rider show but is also updated for the times. Runner-up would be Double.

I would still go for Build somehow. Make the Smash metahumans in some way for Build to extrace random essences from those who possess mutant powers.
If you could replace the "Fang Smash' with a regular human being (actors/actresses with martial arts ability) possessing mutant powers, Build will be able to fight them and extract their essence leaving him/her powerless. Make Build World War III - Pandora War! |

Zero-One or Double, but I'm leaning towards Double since the what makes Kamen Rider different from Sentai/PR is the 'lone hero' aspect.
But if Zero-One is chosen, I want them to have each Riders, ir at the very least Vulcan and Jin, to have bikes of their own. Since it would be pretty weird for first time audiences to see a Rider but they don't ride a bike. Also I'm surprised OmegaEclipse didn't get triggered at this thread yet.
