Honestly, Cam's arc is the only thing that stops me from wanting to condemn the series entirely. The Thunder Brothers were introduced WAY too early (I think they first appeared in episode 2? Maybe 3?) for them to feel like a large threat, and the designs were hit and miss (I liked the suits, but the megazord looked terrible. Way too bulky for a ninja and the Lightning mode just felt like a lame excuse "We couldn't figure out how to make the toys look this thin, so screw it. Let's just copy Ultraman for the next 3 minutes").
And how could you not notice the Extreme sport theme? Literally every scene not in their base or on a battlefield revolved around them and their sport of choice. Dustin in a non action scene? He's at the BMX shop tuning up his dirt bike. Shane in a non action scene? He's in his helmet chilling at the skate park. Tori? On the beach in a bikini. It's like Disney thought ninjas weren't cool enough so they had to make them EXTREEEEEME. I havent fully watched it in forever. Just goin by what Ive remembered. Dustin and the BMX thing never bothered me, Shane mightv got a bit annoyin since they just tried to make him Tony Hawk with a Morpher. Tori, I never had a problem with at the beach. I love the megazords, the Wind Megazord not as good as the Thunder, but those two together is nice, along with the Samurai Star, combined into the Hurricane, that was a great one.

To me, only the Thunder Megazord looked good. The Wind and Samurai ones looked terrible, and their combined mode made Samurai Ha-Oh look well designed.

Toy wise Samurai looks weird, on the show it and Wind look good, Id say those 3 combined look better than Ha-Oh, but at least all 13 mecha are on it, if I recall correctly, not all of the Ninja zords are on Hurricane

Been watching Timeforce and SPD lately on netflix. I forgot how much I had enjoyed Timeforce and man I really like Ransik his actor does a great job playing the role and even though he's not a sympathetic villain he is much better than a lot of the others in my opinion and he does look pretty freaky too.
As for SPD I'm enjoying though I think they went a bit overboard if they were trying to make Gruumm having a split personality at times He's just kinda meh villain in my opinion. The team is great though I'm always wondering where the heck Crouger's snout goes when he morphs into the Shadow Ranger considering the character existed in the sentai as well. |

I've burnt myself out on Power Rangers for awhile. I've been meaning to do another run through MMPR Season 3, but I just can't seem to get the motivation.
Instead I've been watching Digimon, haha

High Five
MMPR S1 E2 I'm laughing hystarically right now watching a mini space shuttle fly to earth, with Japanese markings, and zoom down Tokyo streets.. because I cant believe I bought this as a teenager Still good though! And I forgot about Bones.. Which is sad because he has to be one of the best looking early villians, and that voice is emaculate. The unmorphed fighting scenes weren't bad either. Shame Trini comes off as an overbearing nurse mother because of her fear of heights. Shamefully though I did enjoy her in strech pants. I'm a shallow husk of a man, I know. Just ask my girlfriend And I swear I just heard Billy say "Morphitudinous" ... I'll give you morphinominal but maybe we should end it there It is amazing though how much Zordon sounds like Gosei, or Gosei sounds like Zordon. Is it the same person? And now a new monster shows up, from another episode of Zyuranger, because Zords God Saban... This whole episode just left me confused But I enjoyed it. |

Teamwork!
MMPR S1E2 Does anyone know what happened to Bulk's 80's reject girlfriend that appears in the beginning of this episode and then just disappears? The beginning of every Save The Earth episode ever done by Power Rangers through every season, right here. But atleast it introduces Kaplan, who's alot more memorable than whatever his name is in megaforce. The science teacher.. guy.. person. One problem I have is instead of sending Jason and Billy to the girls to help out, he has them delivered to the command center! "Look guys! Girls can't fight loooooooolz..." That Minotaur though.. Something about the first season of Power Rangers, they had such memorable villians. I remember more about the first season of villians than I do about what I did yesterday. I wish I never knew that in Zyuranger, Yellow was a man. Because now it's very obvious that Trini not only loses anatomy on her chest but gains one a little lower. And Zordon.. "Maybe it's time I reveal to you the secret of your Power Weapons." Why didn't you before? "It amused me! YOU ALL EXIST TO AMUSE ME!" Watching the original Live Action Gattai though does bring me much nostalgic happiness and joyjoy feelings. OMG.. Trini's stunt person in the american only footage is a man to! And she gained four inches in height. It's Moune/Gia all over again but without the genderswapping! I bitch but I enjoyed this episode to |
