The last of the three releases in the Ninnin Action series line from Bandai Japan is none other than the other male on the team - Ki Ninger, aka the Yellow Ranger!
This review will be short as we are actually running out of things to talk about in terms of the actual figure as it is the same as the other two releases, just with a new head, a new shuriken, and yellow paint. The Figure The standard Bandai of America 15 points of articulation. The only difference aside from the paint is a different head sculpt (see picture) and a different shuriken on the belt (see picture). I have to admit though - the yellow paint on Ki Ninger gives him a much more "pop" feel to him. He's my favorite of the group because the yellow and black color scheme meshes much better than the red and black or the blue and black. The Accessories You get the usual soft, unpainted black plastic Ninja Ichibantou, Gamagama Gun, and the Karakuri Hengen is in its claw form. Much like with the release of Aka Ninger and Ao Ninger, the soft plastic and strange handle makes holding the Karakuri Hengen awkward. It should be noted that the hands on these figures are made of softer plastic than the rest of the figure. My thought is that it allows the fingers to be moved in order to hold the weapons. Unfortunately it also means that they will be more likely to move around or fall out entirely on their own - you can only have these figures hold the Ninja Ichibantou in two ways because having the hilt be sideways will allow it to fall out of the figure's grasp. The Final Verdict As stated before - if you want a head start on what could very well be Power Rangers 2017, by all means pick these up. If you prefer a more show-accurate version, I'd say hold on and hope that we get some S.H. Figuarts representations of these characters in the future. Otherwise, the vinyl figures are also a good option. If you're in to customizing figures, the unpainted accessories should be a lot of fun for you. For what equates out to about $10 a figure you can easily justify reasons to buy them. But if you're on the fence with these figures, and you're a typical collector of Bandai Japan products, you will be sorely disappointed by this offering of the Ninnin Action line.

I definitely like this trio, but Ki is my least favorite of the bunch.
