Didn't somebody subbed Timeranger before? I remember seeing the entire series on youtube about 4 years ago.

There are full subs but http://www.tokunation.com/showthread.php?t=86 says they're not accurate. Plus they're like 50p videos.

I'm finishing up Dekaranger - have about 8 eps to go. This series is defying categorizing for me - I like the characters and the support staff/additional rangers are great. I like the mechs and I really find myself liking, along with GoGoV and a few others, the whole "rangers as part of an organization" theme.
Character development has been decent - not across the board but pretty good. Some of the individual monsters of the week have been interesting as well and all of this sounds like this should be one of my highest rated series but the main adversary has been so absent and has none of the normal sentai trappings (generals, etc.) it has brought down my enjoyment of the show since there really hasn't been an ongoing threat against the team. It has just been a series of individual criminals the team has been going after with few ongoing elements. I still like the series, it just would have been higher in my estimation with more of an ongoing villain storyline. Last edited by lenyjr; 12-21-2016 at 11:33 PM.. |

Finished all the episodes of Dekaranger! It was a bit of a mixed bag for me. I thought that the lack of ongoing plot (or generally good episodic plot) brought it down along with the not great character development and somehow making SPACE POLICE and COOL ALIENS mostly focused on a small part of Earth. However, within the last 10 or so episodes it really pulled off something good. The shift from episodes focused on single to duos of characters was a good move and the final battle can be explained as nothing but awesome. I loved that they couldn't transform for most of it! Liked it more that the vanilla that was Abaranger for sure. I just wish that most of the show wasn't so throwaway. Gonna finish up with the extras for Deka I'll be done.

Your opinion of Deka pretty much matches mine.

Just finished episode 29 of Zyuohger and wow for the 2000th episode of Super Sentai that was awesome between this and the last episode it was great and refreshing getting to see the Gokaigers again and the finisher was fun with the special anniversary finisher while a bit odd. But hey thats Sentai for ya. Also I love that they used the anniversary episodes to introduce Zyuoh Whale. That was awesome and really clever too. Honestly I had forgotten this was an anniversary series
