Alright folks you know how this works. Give your favorite mentor over the years, and tell us why. Here's the choices.
Zordon of Eltar - The first and original mentor of the Power Rangers. First seen in MMPR 01 as a giant floating head in a glass tube, and then in the flesh in MMPR: The Movie. Dimitira - After Zordon leaves for Eltar she takes over. A mysterious woman who only speaks in questions (Until in Passing the Torch she just stopped.. for no reason). She appeared as a middle aged woman in white robes and a shroud. Captain Mitchell/Dr. Angela Fairweather - I'm counting both because they both served as mentors during this season. Captain Mitchell chose the Lightspeed Rescue Rangers after the loss of his son to the demon Diablolico. Angela helped devolop the technology used by the Rangers. From their Morphers to their Zords. Princess Shayla - She's the Princess of Anamarium, apparently immortal, and the love interest of Merrick. The Silver Wolf. She hardly ever leaves the floating island, and always helps the Rangers whenever she can. Sensei Kanoi Watanabe - The Hamster. Or Guinea Pig. Whatever Lothor changed him into at the start of the series. He appeared through most the series as his animal shape, offering sage advice and wisdom to the Rangers. Tommy Oliver/Hayley Ziktor - They both filled this roll in the series. Tommy helping his students as best he could, and Hayley maintaining their fleet of weapons and such. Anubis Doggie Kruger - The iconic Sirian that helped found SPD after the loss of his Wife. Later becoming the Shadow Ranger, he helped his team patrol the streets and keep Earth safe. Udonna/Leonbow/Daggeron - This show had three. Udonna as the Mystic White Ranger, who used the Book to help her Rangers battle evil. Leonbow, her husband, thought to be lost but then reclaimed. And Daggeron. The lost Hero who helped train the Rangers with help from his Genie. Jengi. Andrew Hartford - The millionaire explorer who helped finance the construction of the OO's Morphers, Weapons, and Zords. RJ - The Zen Sensei of the Jungle Fury Rangers. Always there with a pizza and a wise saying, eventually becoming the Jungle Wolf. Doctor K - The mysterious savant who helped build the very dome protecting Corinth, as well as the RPM tech. And though lost when it comes to social interaction, she helps them with her knowledge as much as she can. Master Ji - The Mentor to Jayden, and eventually the rest of the Samurai Rangers. Sage sayings, Motorcycle Riding, and he convinced Jayden to get a new haircut. Deserves a vote for that right there. Gosei - The Tiki. So which is your favorite? |

Zordon seems like the obvious answer, but I've got to give it to Doctor K.
(RJ comes close too)

Doctor K, she's just the most entertaining to me... IT'S NOT SPANDEX!

Eh. I'm voting Cruger. I liked him as a character, even outside being SPD Shadow, and he made for a great leader.

Captain Mitchell. For me it's because he had an excellent backstory and was an even better leader. He wasn't your damn friend, he wasn't there to hold your hand. He was there to help you save people. Period.

R.J. Not only did he provide the Rangers guidance and combat assistance, he also helped them hone their skills as warriors while also providing them with food, housing, and stable jobs.

I'm going with Captain Mich here. I mean sure Anubis may outrank him but let's face it the SPD Rangers messed up a lot and when you compare them to Lightspeed Rescue it's really no contest.
Plus the Captain kept a cooler head than Shadow Ranger. I understand Anubis was going though a lot but he came off as a asshole to me. |

Of course I picked RJ, not just for obvious reasons, but he was one of the few who fought with the team as well as lead/mentor. Along with that, he owned a pizza restaurant!
