Playmates now owns the master toy license, but the rights to the show itself still belong to Hasbro under eOne.
In other words, the show is officially over, and Sentai purists everywhere are sure to rejoice.

We haven't heard anything new happening with the show for over a year now. Not during Power Ranger Month last year, not after Cosmic Fury ended, nothing. Hasbro is no longer making any new merch with them licensing to other companies instead and Playmates now holding the master license. And with all the other licenses they've had that they shelved, they never made any official announcement, just let it die, like with Overwatch.
Is it impossible that the show comes back under Hasbro one day? No, but it's very, very unlikely.

Power Rangers can move on without using Super Sentai as its own IP. Much like how Robotech and Voltron can do their own stuff without relying on from Macross or GoLion.

And well as for Voltron, and considering how polarizing the latest one was and how actual mecha fans hold such disdain for it... uh... I'll be real these examples are kind of bad lol |

Robotech has only held on via amalgamating other anime. Its few original projects(a grand total of two!) died immediately upon release. Voltron meanwhile only gets to come back once a decade because WEP has literally nothing else. And that's ignoring Vehicle Force which was Dairugger XV.

Given that Hasbro recently outright cancelled some reissues they had planned(such as Remastered MMPR Green), the line is likely finishing off with the upcoming Invisible Phantom Ranger and the reissue of the MMPR Morpher.
There is a small chance that Hasbro sells their pre-existing molds off to Playmates, but given Playmates usual style when it comes to toys, it's doubtful.
