I'm a little concerned as to what the "epic battle move" the product description speaks of is. I really hope these don't have some sort of swinging gimmick as the pictures suggest. The OtomoNin ones look pretty nice and with the gold sash the red ranger one could be a good stand in for Yoshitaka since by the time he shows up transformed they'd probably be shoving the 3rd armored figure down everyone's throats already (and the fact that it's like the 2nd to last episode).

Can anyone see if there is any difference between these and the standard 5 nch figures? |

Any reason these new images and descriptions are not newsed yet? Or does stuff like this not get newsed? Is there a thread for the ninja steel toy line? And is there a more direct way to transmit news to the site?

Here is an image of these in pachaging as well as another image which shows the height difference between the articulated figure of the rumble tusk zord and the actual rumble tusk zord:

I'm a little dissapointed in that, as I was hoping these would just be the normal figures with the extra accesory. That said, even though they are gimmick figures, they don't appear to be lacking any of the articulation the standard figures. Though how the gimmick affects the shoulder articulation is a mystery atm. They also look like they might actually release all of the Rangers in this line, as we've already seen one of the girls like this (I want to say it was the White Ranger). If they release the Pink Ranger in this line, and the gimmick isn't too intrusive, I might get one. Edit: Something I just noticed that kinda made me laugh. If you look at the images of Red and Blue wearing the armor, those aren't either of the BoA figures. They for some reason chose to use the BoJ figures as stand-ins for those photos. You can see the metal pins in their elbows, the painted shurikens on their belts, and the fatter lower arm sculpts they have. Though the other pictures of them are clearly the actual figures made for these sets. The figure in Shurikenjin's post is also the BoJ version of the Blue Raner. For some reason BoA used the BoJ figures as stand-ins for some of the standard figures as well. Edit: Just watched a review of the first wave of these figures (Red, Blue, and Rumble Tusk). The gimmick definitely messes with the shoulder articulation of the Rangers right arms, but you can still kinda move them for the most part. That said, they are lacking all the paint the standard figures have on their backs. The Rumble Tusk, and I'm assuming all the other zords they make figures of, actually doesn't have the built-in gimmick. It has an extra piece for the armor's weapon-mode that gives it a spinning gimmick. Oh, and don't let reviewers like the one I watched convince you that the Rumble Tusk zord can't fin into the Megazord. It can, as can clearly be seen in one of the Neo-Saban channel's videos. It's not an ideal fit, you won't have the star/head unless you get the RT Megazord, and it doesn't have the connector to click into place, but it does fit.

The person who gave me those images above can confirm that there is no action, its just an articulated figure. Looks great too!
