Azalds's Complete form has been unleashed, with powers so strong no Zyuman or Dethgalien can stand against him. Who will be victorious in this fight?!
As always you can view this episode via live stream on Saturday by heading over to Taima TV. They play other miscellaneous programs up until the live broadcast starts.
Live Streams of the Superhero Time block start at 6:30 PM Eastern Standard Time on Saturdays. |

Hey, that's pretty good.
So, dem camera angles. I don't know why, but there's suddenly a lot more dynamic camera work, including multiple first person shots. I like it. The flow of the fight sometimes felt a little wonky, but overall, I was a fan. A lot happened in this little episode, including tying Yamato's father to Bard to explain why he was absent when Yamato's mother died, and Yamato's breakdown over learning it all was rather surprising. Even when he thought he lost all his friends, he basically fell to his knees and had a thousand yard stare in despair. So to see him go full rage mode was rather surprising. Azald was rather neat, but I do feel they waited too long for him. He only got 2 episodes before eating it, unfortunately. Still, I enjoyed his defeat. Having the Zyumen emerge from the mech, whale gun in tow, to seal Azald's core before then making a mad dash to break it was great. So, yeah. More revelations about Yamato's past is always nice. The fighting camerawork was ramped up to make it a lot more of a spectacle was nice. How Azald was defeated was nice. And things haven't been wrapped up neatly for Yamato yet, who's still having a hard time comprehending it all. Loved it~

Daaaamn! This episode was so so good, guys.
Loved Genis in this ep. That guy is stone cold. Yamato going crazy with guilt after learning the real reason his dad was too late to save his moms was so intense. Stellar stuff. Loved how the Zyumans delivered the final blow to Azald. Really made them feel important, and not just like the Red's support staff. The sequence where they bounded across the city to shatter the core was awesome too. The action in general was really stand out. It felt sorta like like Fukuzawa watched Crank before planning the action this episode. I love to see them incorporate all these new techniques. I'm not usually a fan of Fukuzawa, but credit where credit is due. Can't wait to see how the rest plays out! Last edited by Kamen Rider Lucha; 01-24-2017 at 01:57 AM.. |

My only complaint is 'BUY THE TOYS' at episode fourty-fucking-six. Is this common in Sentai? This is my first

This might be one of my favorite single episodes from this series. Well put together, it tied a lot of the loose ends up, and answered a lot of questions. Azald was just overpowering and Genis is still waiting in the wings.

I will admit, i'll be sad to see this go with just only 2 episodes to go. I like this episode in the fact that Yamato is different than the recent Red's that came before him, and shows he has some issues himself. Even after he learned the truth from Bud, he's still angry, angry in the fact he held a grudge against his dad for so long.

Also, speaking of writing decisions, I totally forgot about Cube Whale's little freak out. How long ago did that happen? Zyuohger keeps blindsiding me with all this foreshadowing and setup and now I wish I had paid more attention.

My feelings about this episodes are already written out well in other posts so I won't repeat too much, but I too enjoyed the revelation behind Yamato's dad, the focus on the Zyuohman in battle as well as the scenes with Azald and Genis.
I was very impressed by the change of shots; the body-cams are a clever idea. I would like to see that used more often. And I'm also a bit sad that this show will be over soon. Especially since I fear that the following season will not be able to entertain me in the same way since I already see some big red flags (Yeah… "red"). I will give it a shot anyways, and if the space guys don’t please me enough I’ll just watch one of the seasons I hear about rather often and see if those are any good. |

Even if there isn't anything worth marketing, sometimes the movie exclusive mech will appear for no other reason It's not really too bad, though. At least the cube animals were established prior to and were relevant to the story. Quote:
Eh, I'm fine with it. If they made this plot longer, it would've run the risk of getting boring and stagnant like Bunglay did after a while. A couple more episodes might've been nice, admittedly, but I trust Zyuohger's writing decisions at this point. If they only made this go for two episodes, it was probably because they only had two episodes worth of story for it.
I hope they do use them more. Sentai camera work in non-movies tend to be the same over and over. This really brought a fresh amount of variety.

Dear freaking God this episode was freakin' brilliant. Everything from learning Bado's and Yamato's Dad's history together, to the Zyuman's taking down Azauld and succeeding where their ancestor failed was magnificent. Hell, I am even loving Yamato's crisis right now too. I like how he just doesn't know how to process this. Genis is definitely someone not to cross with what happened to both Cubal and Azauld here. Genis might not have had much of a story but dear God is he powerful and fearsome. I can't wait for more.
I hope Kyuranger can just continue the intensity that Zyuohger has had at the end here.
