That's certainly exciting news; I've been wanting Figuarts Gridman for an eternity. Or rather, for about 6 years because that's when I first watched and fell in love with the series. Really curious to see where this is headed, I would be satisfied with just Gridman, but in my mind I'm seeing a God Zenon that can combine with it, Option Act. Cyber Building sets, Figuarts of some iconic monsters etc. |

I've seen both methods done on different figures. The the back of the lenses on the Geats line are painted silver, while on FRS there are foil stickers between the front of the helmet and behind the lenses

SHF Gridman? Like, the original one right?
Makes sense for them to do this though. Ultra-Act is dead and all the Ultramen are now SHF, it's only logical for the Gridman himself to get an updated SHF release.

Pretty sure they just meant Ultraman in general are now SHF instead of a sub-line.
This timing sorta sucks cause I literally found and bought a sealed Ultra-Act Gridman last month, so it feels like a monkey's paw situation for me knowing we're gonna get a new one. That said, I'm gonna buy it. I love Gridman too much lol.

Also, I kinda like the idea of displaying old and new toys together; Ultra-Act especially has a really charming aesthetic. |

This does all depend on which version of Gridman they're basing this off. I have a suspicion it's the OG version, which is going to limit accessory variety.
