Looking at getting the Fire and Elec Switch, but I don't feel like getting the Role play weapons. So, what's the difference between the Candy and Gashapon Switches?

From what I've seen, the difference is in appearances. Gashapon come with two stickers, with one looking like it's shiny. Some of them also have LED lights. Candy Toy are like the candy toy medals, they have a Red Laser barcode on the back.

So, the only difference is the stickers? Otherwise, they're the exact same?

The DX and certain Gachapon switches have those sparkly stickers. Most Gachapon releases only have a flat color sticker, and a metallic version. Pretty much every Candy Toy (So far there's at least one exception, Spike comes with an extra DX-style sticker) has just a metallic sticker. |

Some Gashapon switches that don't have a DX release will have the sparkly DX sticker instead of the normal gashapon shiny sticker. All Candy Toy switches come with that shiny sticker.
I'd say get whichever one you find first. I really should get my list up of what extras I am selling... |

So, what should I go for then? What would better match the switches that come with the DX belt?

neither really :P
Only a select few of the gacha and candy switches have the sparkly sticker the DX switches have, so either route you take your going to end up with odd ones. Personally I'm going to go for the candy switches, the stickers are already applied so i don't have to worry about that and if i really feel the need to i can peel the QR stickers off =) So ill just have them all in candy form thus none will look odd =) |

If you're a real stickler for sticker consistency, then you don't really have much of a choice than to get the ones with the weapons.
However, those two being different than your usual Astro Switch already would probably allow you to pick up a non sparkly stickered version. I'd personally go for the Gachapon in that case, you'll get a metallic sticker with those and they don't have the garish QR tag on the back. |
