This probably belongs in the Zero-One toy thread but... I was watching Freezing Bear DX Progrise Key reviews yesterday and thought it had a neat jingle. "Attention Freeze!".
Just as I was laying in bed trying to sleep my eyes sprung wide open as I suddenly realized "OMFG it's a play on "Attention, please!" how did I not get this until now". |

I was re-watching some Kakuranger episodes and noticed that on the right "head bar" on Daimaou (Master Vile in Mighty Morphin' Season 3), that there is a peace sign dangling like an earring!
I've heard that the bad guy in Dirty Harry also had a peace sign, as if to say "bad guy doesn't know how bad he is", and I'm wondering if Daimaou is meant to be the same.

I feel kind of stupid realising that the Risephone is a Progrise Key variant. I mean, it should've been obvious given some of the past trends of Rider Machines (Gaim's Sakura Hurricane unfolds from a Lockseed, Drive's Tridoron is a giant Shift Car, Zi-O's unfolds from a Ridewatch, etc.) but the colors and the 'screen' and the way it's positioned made me think it really was meant to be a phone.
So yes, the Hiden Risephone is a fancy Progrise Key on its side, and now I feel like an idiot. |

Hey, you know what one of my favorite ever visuals in a Rider opening is? Those sweet "collages" of Faiz in his opening. Especially the one that kicks it off:
But there's always been one thing that bugged me. What's that thing on the right? My assumption was that it must be Auto Vajin or something, but that's such a nondescript series of shapes I could never tell if it matched up with him or not. Until I realized... It's his butt! I must've always been looking at pictures of him from the front for comparison, and never noticed it until now, but it you look, that's clearly him doing a dramatic "back to the camera" standing pose beside Faiz. Very weird spot for a cameo!

...I just realized that Aruto's "The only one who can stop you, is me!"-Catchphrase is a joke on Zero-One, the only one.
God damn it, how do I only see that now? |

Can't believe I'm only just realising this now but the Go-Busters'/Beast Morpher Rangers' visors are not just visors; they're full on glasses.
Look at the visors and the silver sections on the sides of their heads and tell me they're just helmet visors. Go on. |

I just realised that Kamen Rider Fourze's Barizun Sword's Sword Mode represents a rocket ship separating from a booster module.
I always thought it represented a rocket's inner parts (like, gas tanks and engine fuselages and what-not), but no! The red part in the middle is supposed to be rocket thruster fire and the blue parts are modules. That is awesome. |

I realise that OOO's body parts were meant to represent diffeent animals, but I was always wondering how Shauta had a killer whale motif. I couldn't find it.
Until today. Shauta's helmet is literally a killer whale from the sides. You can see the shape of a curved killer whale jumping out of the water (or something like that) EDIT: While I'm the topic of OOO, it didn't dawn to me until I saw the Shinkocchou Seihou that Sagozo's (or Sagozoh or however it's spelled) 'elephant trunks' on the legs actually extended to the feet themselves. You can clearly see nostril indents in there. Last edited by gashatfreak; 10-29-2019 at 05:08 AM.. |

So you know how the Sengoku Driver is supposed to represent a cutting board and stuff right? And how the Genesis Driver is meant to be like some kind of juicer (or something, I mean, it MAKES 'soda'!)?
So I know how the bottom is meant to be a cup, but I can't believe I literally just realised that the straw on the top right is meant to represent a drinking straw. I mean, like, duh, all the pipes are supposed to be straws. But this particular straw is not going back into the Genesis Driver. For years I was wondering why the designers would have a weird pipe sticking out. Not convinced it's a drinking straw? Okay, imagine that the rest of it goes straight down. It would go straight through the Energy Lockseed (the fruit) and into the 'cup' (the wiki calls it the 'Concentrate Pod', fun fact). |
