ok...almost finished this game...killed a whole day off on it. Here is the thing, this is a game for Transformer Fans six ways sideways...The story is great, the leves a blast. Each level is a different transformer and each guy has just a different special ability (save one, Grimlock who is all together different, but will get into that) and that makes the game. From playing a character who cloaks, the game is like Splinter Cell (you have executions), to the grappling hook (Kind of like Arkham Assylum) to my favorite, the force wave...each gives a variety of play. Then you have Grimlock and the Dinobots at the end of the game...holy crap is it satisfying to just lay waste!
Storywise it is a retelling of the Autobots and Decepticons right before they head to Earth. If you are a loooong time fan there are so many different nods to the old series and the 1984 movie. Yes some re-designs and they work. I played the demo and was all "Meh" about the multiplayer...it is much much smoother in the final package. My only complaint is I wanted more of the single player. It was as if we just get a taste of what they could do, but then the game could drag on too much, or we fan boys would complain that stuff got left out... Bottom line, I recomend this game. Will do a more complete write up later on my site...but I highly recomend it. |

99% sure I'm going to pick it up after work, or earlier if I can sneak out for a bit. I wants to play multi-player, xbox gamertag ryanlb add me and let's play.

Remember: Use the spoiler tags for those of us who haven't bought it yet, and don't want anything spoiled.

LOL Didn't spoil anything you can't see from the front cover when you buy the box or go into a toy aisle...

I want this game infinitely, but like Matrixbeast, money is a factor.
That and the fact that I don't know if I should get it for XBox or PC(I'd prefer XBox, no doubt, but I don't have an XBox with me. And I had WFC for XBox too...).

I pretty much had to dip into next month's budget, so no September buys for me :\
