Let's Samurize, Guys!
Tokunation is proud to bring you a gallery featuring the hero of SuperHuman Samurai Syber Squad (SSSS), Servo! SSSS was an adaptation of Tsuburaya's Denkou Choujin Gridman and it ran for one season from 1994 to 1995, with a total of 53 episodes. SSSS followed the exploits of teenager Sam Collins and his friends/bandmates as they deal with problems in both the real and digital worlds. Sam is bonded with a computer program named Servo and as him fights megavirus monsters created by the evil Overload Overlord, Kilokhan. Playmates Toys handled the SSSS toy line and released a variety of characters at different sizes. The deluxe Servo figure stands at approximately 9 inches tall and has 19 points of articulation. All electronics from the original Japanese figure were removed for the American release. Servo comes with several accessories, including a removable Digital Communicator, Micro-Menacing Sabre, Megavirus Monster Deflector Shield, Synch-Sword, and a Synch Short Blade. Check out the 20 image gallery, samurized for your protection, after the jump! Want TokuNation.com updates on the go? "Like" us on Facebook and follow us @tokunation on Twitter!! Nice! Always loved Gridmans' design. Never realized the US release had been altered like that though.

Wish I had new stickers to my old combining version with the dragon gun. It's tempting to get those new versions of the figures.

This gallery pisses me off solely because I used to have this and it was sold at a Yard Sale. I may go Home tomorrow and smack my momma. (not really, but damn)

Man, I only had the small Synchro set and a tiny 2-inch Servo figure. I really wanted the deluxe figures (Especially the dragon!). These guys are probably an arm and a leg on Ebay and Amazon I'm guessing.

Surprisingly, no. I got this one, misb, for around $30 shipped from ebay. The other two dx figures, Zenon and Drago, are a little more, but deals are out there.
