I hope it's not the end of new adaptations. Even if they end up making, like, an animated remake of Mighty Morphin', I think that would be missing a lot of the fun of a whole new team and show every year or two.
And practically, I don't think Hasbro would want to miss out on having a whole new team (and batch of toys) to sell every couple years. Legacy content is all well and good (I'm still holding out hope for a Dino Morpher), but they can't make it last forever. At least not without reaching the bottom of the barrel at some point. If they keep on adapting new Sentai seasons however, they could never run out of brand new toys to sell. |

I see only one way this could go. Hasbro does what Saban did when they made Mystic Knights Of Tie Na Nog and create and rebuild from the ground up with new US footage at 100% and Rangers like Titanium Ranger and the Spirit Rangers Jetix created.
I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Hasbro actually decides to try a stunt like that. So not an end but a fresh new Power Rangers without adapting anything. Nobody laugh as it may happen. |

hasbro is literally incapable of marketing anything successfully without nostalgia so yeah i do think this is bogus, unless they're actively killing the franchise intentionally

Hasbro isn't the only person/company who's been accused of intentional self-destruction in 2020. It's becoming a tired little pattern! |

My oh my how I still fantasize Disney never sold Power Rangers back and instead integrates them into Marvel Universe.

I seem to remember how the 2005 IDW Continuity of Transformers actually did do a crossover with New Avengers several years ago! If only Hasbro and Marvel would allow for something similar. I have my doubts as to whether it would work, but I do think it could make for some interesting match-ups: - Magneto VS. Lord Zedd - Thanos VS. Sentinel Knight - Iron Man VS. King Mondo - Rhino VS. Jungle Fury Rhino Ranger - Galactus VS. "Shattered Grid" Mega Megazord If Hasbro screws this franchise up, someone make an online petition begging Disney to buy it back! |

40 year old Transformers fan talking. I think PR will be fine. More then likely it will be closer to how Hasbro runs Transformers every year. Put out legacy Toys from Past Shows like G1, Beast Wars, E CT. Put out a new original PR cartoon here and there. Depending on how Popular the new PR movie is, ride that for a lot of years or totally forget about it, can go either way. Maybe sign a new contract with Toei only when they think a Super Sentai could be adapted. No point paying for Sentai Footage you can't use. Honestly besides Ryusoulger I don't think any of the other skipped Super Sentai could be adapted well. At least not well enough to make money off of them.

How quickly we forget that the higher-ups at Disney were doing everything they could to screw the show over and outright get it canned. Opinions on their seasons aside, if Disney had kept PR, the franchise would've outright died after RPM. So no, Disney keeping the show most certainly was not for the best.
