So final episode and here a couple of scattered thoughts hearing the Tri-Squad calling out name attacks in Tri-Strium dosen't feel right without Hiroyuki. I thought Taiga was going to become Reiga but the Rainbow Strium Burst is still really cool. Where probably going to get a Figuart of that just like Zero Bryond Glitter last year. Ultimate Shining got a pretty underwhelming debut. My crackpot theory is that the person we see at the end was Heisei Ultraseven either that or Trigger.

Hmm.
Yeah I've decided. This is probably one of my least favorite Ultra-related works tbh, ending just felt really flat for me. I really only enjoyed Act 1, and like bits and pieces of Act 3. |

I'll admit that The Absolute Conspiracy started strong only to poop itself asleep, but even the end has some interesting elements to it. I've yet to see Taiga, so Tri-Strium is relatively new to me and therefore amusing. I'm happy that Andro Melos joined the "final battle" and this Ultra League, but I would've enjoyed more depth. I don't mind Zero's new form, but it probably needed a bigger debut and battle. Z did very little, but I didn't expect much out of him to begin with as he was just getting his bearings. Still curious as to how Yullian truly fits into all this.
The next arc better keep the streak of obscure Ultras going. The Kingdom is Coming... someday! |

Is it just me or is that one guy Yullian is surprised to see a parallel isotope of Ultraseven?

It feels hard to judge The Absolute Conspiracy when it's essentially half(?) done. I'm honestly a little disappointed it didn't end up being more self-contained, because I think those smaller stories it was telling were its biggest strength. Despite it going in a different direction than I expected, though, it was still a lot of fun from start to finish.

Absolute Conspiracy was messy. First it had a straight storyline, then it went to random flashbacks and backstories, and then they tell us it's not even the complete story, so it kind of feels like wasted time over nothing.

True. Personally I liked it regardless and the thought of it possibly being the foundation/supplimentary material for Ultraman Trigger.

I enjoyed Absolute Conspiracy. I liked seeing more obscure characters and the Land of Light. But like others have said, it's hard to really judge it when it's only the beginning of a story.

After watching another episode of Gridman on Toonami, I suddenly had an "epiphany" of sorts, and apologies if someone already had the same idea and asked about it.
Does the "Ultraman Trigger" copyright news mean that Studio TRIGGER is involved in some capacity!? |
