Quite some time ago I saw a youtube video featuring vinyl toys based on the organic forms of the zords/mecha from lost galaxy/gingaranger i cant the video but did bandai actually make these and if so what were they called?

They actually did make these! I just stumbled across them on a japanese gallery of vintage Sentai Robos. Ginga Animals

Same for me. I found that site a few months back and just drooled over the pictures. I really wish they could fill the gap before Jetman though as I'd love to see those Robos. But still, it's easily one of the most comprehensive archives of Vintage Sentai Robos that I've seen.
