This is a separate topic.
In 2023 for Series 30 what Toei show would likely be adapted? I'm calling Karmi Mage Ranger.

What even is a "Karmi Mage Ranger"?
Anyway, I think either LupinPatren or Kyuranger is most likely to be adapted in 2023/2024.

I've always been an advocate for ToQger, and that hasn't changed yet. I'm also wondering if perhaps an anthology show would be the better approach as opposed to just adapting another Sentai right off the bat. This is a franchise with issues and questions and rumors and theories, and some of those details can't be solved by adding an entirely new team with no prior analogue to the mix. If it were me involved, I'd go in and address the Pre-Zyu Teams and any long-standing questions which previous seasons have left standing, be it intentional or unintentional. I'm not so naïve that I think we should adapt 30 or 40 year old show footage, but Movie specials tend to be widescreen and easy to remaster. In addition, modern Sentai have definitely included Veteran Rangers or Veteran Ranger Modes like in Gokaiger. Super Megaforce added the Pre-Zyu Teams and BOOM! is still addressing them, if only on a small level. Use some of these "adapted-but-not-really" Sentai Teams to help address what we haven't seen before! In terms of unaddressed story details, how about the gap between Zeo and the Turbo Movie? The fate of Dimitria? The backstory of the Squadron Rangers/Dairanger? General Venjix from Forever Red? Archerina's father Aradon? Gosei's history with Zordon? Why did TJ recognize Lord Draven's name in "Dimensions in Danger" when we haven't ever seen or heard of Draven before that moment? If Hasbro truly wants to expand on the franchise and explore its many parts, it can't just rely on Toei to belch out a new Sentai for them to adapt and market for kids, while leaving the hard questions to BOOM! Any anthology season would need a plethora of new footage, no question there. It would also make it easier to market Legendary Ranger toys. Make no mistake, an unadapted-up-to-this-point Sentai will get the Morphin' Grid treatment again, but it doesn't have to always be that way. To put it another way, Hasbro isn't just focusing on what Takara-Tomy does with Transformers and porting it over on a dime! Why should they do the same with Sentai and Power Rangers? |

I've been watching Zyu Oh the last few days and am on 13.
Apart from the cubes I can see this being another Wild Force Series of sorts. If it weren't for the fact that Kyu Ranger has 12 Rangers we could have gotten our 2nd space themed Series. At this point Zyu Oh seems to be the only option on the table cubes or not.

It will probably be a new show with no Sentai footage. It would be like a Power Ranger equivalent of Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles or the other Voltron shows.

I'll give my thoughts on likelihood of each remaining Sentai ( barring any decision to just make it from scratch ):
ToQer - Unless Hasbro wants to make a show for a younger audience, no chance. Older kids aren't really into trains, but maybe bank off the popularity of Thomas with the younger crowd? Don't know how much violence is allowed in younger kids shows though ... Zhougher - Is Minecraft still a thing? ( Asks someone who is now on the wrong side of 20 ). Anyway, animal motif is a pretty safe theme and the cubes could be really fun toys Kyuranger - I would have said this one was the most likely a couple years ago, but maybe with the current state of toy production it might be too large for them to tackle. Still, I feel this one is the most marketable of the remaining Sentai seasons. Big variety of characters, an easy theme they don't have to bend backwards to adapt, and zords that could be really good with the right design and engineering LuPat - I found the toys to be pretty lackluster for this season. Most of the aux vehicles that aren't red are basically just arms. They lack a more involved transformation you see in Kyuranger mechs Kiramager - Mechs are an improvement over LuPat, but I don't think they would be better than Zhou and Kyu. Overall theme and aesthetics I think could be adapted, just say it all comes from the Zeo Crystal and such. EZPZ Zenkaiger - "One of the suits is DRAGONZORD ?? Get me JDF on the horn, STAT !! " |

Like I said before, just reboot the whole thing and give us Boom Studios's MMPR live-action adaptation. I honestly would not mind a Gen-Z version of the original 6 at this point.

I've been working on an adaptation of Kiramager for the 30th anniversary
Power Rangers Crystal Force Throughout the centuries, many worlds have been protected by teams of heroes known as Power Rangers. From ancient dinosaur powers of the past to time travelers, ninjas to samurai, magic welders to scientists, even alien worlds and other dimensions, all bound together by the Morphin Grid. But now, a new evil, more sinister than any before it, has risen. The light of the Grid casts a long shadow, one that grows with every villain defeated. This shadow now manifests as the Dark Grid Empire, monsters created by the anger, resentment, and vengeful desire of these fallen foes. This Empire does not seek to rule or destroy the world. All they desire is the complete annihilation of all Rangers. Through their dark powers, they use the fear and suffering of other beings to sever all Rangers connection to the Morphin Grid, leaving them and the Earth defenseless. The Dark Grid Empire is lead by Knightmare (Garza) the warrior of rage, Des Reign (Crunchula) the monster maker and Selen (Yodonna) who commands the Empire. These three seek to revive their missing master, Destrom (Yodon) who disappeared soon after the Empires creation.* However, a mysterious alien named Ayella (Mabushina) seeks to defeat the Empire by gathering together five warriors and giving them one of the greatest sources of ranger power: the Zeo Crystals. Ayella used the advanced science of her home world, Eltar, to construct new suits, weapons and Zords that would be unaffected by the Dark Grid. A new light shines through the darkness to protect the heroes of the past and the worlds future. The light of the Power Rangers Crystal Force! The Team Red Ranger: Julian Rhodes is a rescue specialist from Mariner Bay and member of Lightspeed Rescue. Yellow Ranger: Ben Wheeler is a cyborg soldier from Corinth in the RPM universe. Green Ranger: Vivienne Lance is a student of the Wind Ninja Academy. Blue Ranger: Quinn Temple is a Time Force officer. Pink Ranger: Bella is a sorceress in training from the town of Briarwood. To counter these rangers, the Empire has stolen the Gold Zeo Crystal from the planet Triforia. Despite not being able to access its power, they have created a machine to copy its essence and create their own Crystal Zord: the Dark Rexpress, piloted by Knightmare. The rangers soon take this machine and use it to create new Crystal Zords: the Roller Zord, Fork Zord and Hauler Zord, followed by the Bullet Zord to battle and temporarily control the Rexpress and then a mysteriously powerful silver crystal. Each ranger would have an episode to dive into their backstory. Julian devoting his life to rescuing people, Ben trying to move past his dark past in Corinth, Vivienne's time in the Wind Ninja Academy, Quinns mission to investigate the Dark Grids strange effects on the timeline and Bella struggling through her training under Claire. Ayella would also get an episode revealing that she is the daughter of Zordon and that he is still alive in the Morphin Grid, occasionally contacting the Rangers and helping to make new Zords, like the Liner Zord. And then, around the 12th-15th episode, we introduce the sixth ranger. Elijah Scott is the son of the original Red Ranger, Jason Lee Scott. Jason was captured by the Dark Grid Empire in an attempt to access the power of the Gold Zeo Crystal. Using his father's original morpher to become a Red Ranger, Elijah aims to save him from the Empire. At first he insists on going solo, refusing help from the Crystal Rangers, but soon loses is powers as his morpher is cut off from the Morphin Grid by Knightmare. After realising his mistake and seeing that the Rangers gain strength by sharing responsibility, he accepts Ayella's offer to join the team and uses the silver crystal and new morpher to become the Silver Crystal ranger. Most of the series would be about meeting previous Ranger teams, hopefully having more serious plot lines than some recent seasons, less "filler" episodes, etc. An episode on SPD and/or Time Force could fix the timeline issue of how SPD is supposed to take place in 2025 despite the earth not being in the same position i.e. Not having aliens commonly living on earth or having a universal police force. In the season 1 finale or early season 2, Zordon would gain a new physical form (King Oradin) and later create the Aero Zord and gain the ability to become the Crystal Wing Zord. A plot point for the villains later is revealing that after creating the Dark Grid, Destrom was split into three parts. These parts gained sentience and became Knightmare (representing Destroms rage), Des Reign (Destroms ambition) and Selen (the balance that controls the others). After discovering their true nature, each villain reacts differently. Selen insists on merging with the others to bring back Destrom, Des Reign has an existential crisis and eventually decides to embrace his creative side over destruction and Knightmare refuses to accept that he's just a part of another being and finally absorbs the power of the Gold Zeo Crystal, gaining a golden form. If anyone has an criticism or additions I'd love to hear them, like ideas for tribute episodes to previous seasons especially if they match the Sentai footage |
