Another great episode for Ex-Aid. Kiriya is finally back! I wasn't expecting that to happen in this episode but I don't care as long as he's with the team again. Muteki Gamer's debut was cool but it felt a little underwhelming compared to past final form debuts.

Nice episode, liked how Kiriya was on the side of the good guys the entire time. Hyper Muteki looks pretty fun and is OP. The next episode looks rather bad for Taiga.

I'm surprised Masamune didn't outright say how he made the Taddle Legacy Gashat, the detail of him taking away the Hiiro's Gear Dual Beta last episode was barely noticeable, I actually was expecting at least a micro-flashback in this episode of Masamune at his desk working on the "Version Up"-ing Taddle Fantasy.
On lesser note: I love the shot of Dan, Emu, and Taiga all running up to fight Masamune at the fountain. Announcer: "Let's give it up for our heroes kids! A zombie! A dude wearing a battleship! And a guy in Ride-Armor with a giant face on it!" Kids: "Y-Yay?" |

Hyper Muteki's debut was hilarious! Is it just me, or did that resemble a shampoo commercial? "Long, flowing locks that seem to sparkle; you deserve it - you deserve HYPER MUTEKI HAIR!"

I love Kiriya. I love Hyper Muteki. I love Ex-Aid!
So Kiriya is back, not that the chronic liar had me fooled, but I'm very excited as he seems to be just as enjoyable as ever. He might become my favorite yet again! Hyper Muteki is also just... glorious. I might even like it more than Hyper Kabuto. And the finisher! Oh the finisher was so coooooool... Hiiro is also continuing to ride the trauma train. Very excited for Taiga's not death next episode.

If Taiga killed in Game Over style (his body become data), he still can be revived by using Proto Bang Bang Shooting Gashat. But, if Taiga killed without Game Over style, probably he cannot revived....

Kiriya-saaaaaaaaaaaaaan! *faints* Well, erm, uh, anyway, this was another spectacular episode of Ex-Aid, a show that is currently on the hottest of hot streaks. I may have a lot to say about this one: - Kiriya, the guy who lies all the time, was LYING last episode?! Say it ain't so! No but in all honesty it's good they didn't drag that out. It feels like longer because of the week off but they resolved this whole plot point a single episode after introducing it, which is exactly as long as they could have without getting a little silly. And I mean, Kiriya's back. His "death" was definitely something that needed to happen for the series to grow, but I'm nothing short of absolutely ecstatic to see him doing his thing again. He even takes his rightful place on the "告" block of the preview back from that other fan favorite character I don't like anywhere near as much! - Although the probability of him (and all the other peeps who are just data now) actually dying by the end of the series as part of some message about accepting loss is extremely high, so I wouldn't get too attached. - Oh wow, that line from Parad where he overemphasizes the crap out of "muteki~" was indeed foreshadowing. I was going to call that at the time but didn't because I just can't get it through my head that literally every single line of dialogue in this show ends up being important. - So, the odds of this happening later anyway are pretty good, so I'm not really complaining just yet, but I was kind of hoping after hearing Emu's line in the preview for this episode that all the repeated mentions of him not having M's skills to rely on would be building up to him having to like, grow as a character, and learn how to be that awesome on his own. Although if needing Parad's help is the obligatory "leash" on the final form for this year, that's actually a very solid excuse and with how much I like Maximum Gamer the prospect of it (and by extension his Level 2 form) staying around is great. Although if it turns out he just "has" Parad's skills from now on again that'll be lame as crap. - Muteki's pretty neat. I've warmed up to it a bunch but I don't think it'll ever be a favorite or anything. Love that stock footage though! I need a gif of that so I can just stare at it for hours. - I still miss Level 1 being a thing though. Feels like ages ago. - So, and I know I've beaten this horse a ton, but I just don't think it's dead yet, is Dan seriously trying to spin KRC as Genm Corp. being the heroes saving the lives they endangered?! I mean, I guess I'll buy that for random idiots on the street, but man, the benefits package at the company itself must be REALLY good. - "Hey Taddle Legacy can you go murder Mighty- I mean Hyper- I mean Ex-Aid(?) for me thanks bro you're the best. By the way have I mentioned that Genm Corp. is an ethical company lately because we're so ethical man I just can't even handle how ethical we are." - So how long before Chronus realizes he can just Pause before Emu starts transforming and kick the s*** out of him? - Can we get Shin-chan some medication?! Dude is slipping ever further into absolute insanity and it's going completely unchecked by everyone at CR. His suit actor is finally matching his actor actor in terms of ham now and it's starting to creep me out just how obnoxious and loud he can actually get. This might be the most intimidating I've ever found Genm. - The drama with Hiiro continues to engage and next week looks awesome. And, zomg, is Taiga gonna... DIE?! Not if he's like everyone else in this show... - Speaking of which, Emu got his final form without dying! Too bad Parad had to "give his life a Continue" back when his Game Virus broke out. Which, come to think of it, would make his catchphrase a total lie!
