1. Why do the Gobusters have black joints in their arms when the other rangers have colored joints?
2. Why does BoukenRed have red knee pads?
3. Who is next to Daizyujin?
4. Since when is Gorisaki buff?

Who knows, they kinda dropped the ball with that.

Because it was probably easier than doing a half red/half white knee joint

SRC Might Gaine from the Brave series. Nothing to do with Super Sentai.

1. Not sure, i assume they have to have a solid colour joint due the paint as their arms are half respective colour half silver. Why it couldn't have been red/blue/yellow though I don't know.
2. Same as above but for his knees, the lack of white stripe makes it look like knee pads.
3. Might gaine from the Brave T.V shows.
4. He looks fine to me =]
EDIT: Damn Zeo beat me =p

The joints are made out of a special kind of plastic to make them very strong and sturdy, which unfortunately can't be painted. So no matter what, you're always stuck with all of one colour. I think they went for black on the Go-busters because they have a lot of black in their costumes anyway, so while it's not accurate, it looks works athestically. Making them red would have looked as jarring as it does on Boukenred's knees.
And I know people have gone on about it a lot, but even ignoring that issue.. the Go-busters figuarts look terrible.

Uh, what? They are not always black. Look at DekaRed and Green, their joints are green and red as they should be. Hell, even BOukenRed has red joints.

That or it could be a molding thing. Come to think of it, the Busters have a lot more black plastic than red/blue/yellow plastic on them than any other senshi Figuarts to date.

They're moulded in those colours, not painted. The problem is only for these guys that have split colours on their arms and legs. It couldn't be moulded in two colours without weakining the joint.
