As I've mentioned in the Kamen Rider thread, I'm watching 1 Rider (2 episodes) and 2 Sentais (one episode each) a day. The Sentais I'm watching are Dekaranger and Jetman.

Dekaranger, I left off last year at episode 30. I stopped because of other shows and I really wasn't looking forward to episode 31, a DekaPink episode. Ugh...DekaPink. Okay, she's cute as a button, but she gets on my nerves very quicky (though if she was drunk every episode, she'd be awesome ). I've been meaning to finish it if only because Doggie is one of my favorite Rangers (both versions of him). Anyways, I finished episode 36 today. It was the DekaSwan episode...can't say I enjoyed it all that much. Nothing bad, just reminding me that the rangers are dumb for detectives (It's DekaBreak's turn this episode). Plus, DekaSwan is never explained, which kind of pisses me off when the narrator is telling me what Dekametal is for the 100th time instead of explaining why she's suddenly a ranger and blah blah...Yeah, I want to like this show, but it doesn't want me to like it.

Meanwhile: Jetman! I cannot say enough good things about Jetman...except when it's a White Swan episode. I don't like White Swan all that much (she comes off as a snobby brat to me). Aside from that, I love just about everything else. Last night, I hit a 3 parter, so I skipped Dekaranger yesterday and skipping Jetman today. The 3 parter featured Hot Rodding Teenagers from Dimension X. It was great like most Jetman episodes. It has everything. New giant robots, major plot, comedy, Ako's panties, and even hookers! You know, FOR KIDS!

I'm really trying to like Gokaiger. I really am. But 20 episodes in, I just can't get myself to like it. Ahim is cute, Marvelous is pretty fun, but every other character is just so boring. Luka and Joe don't have any kind of substance to them, and Gai and Doc are one-dimensional comic relief characters. The Mecha designs, I find, are really bland and awkward-looking, and the form changes really do seem a bit forced in the fighting.

I pretty much agree with everything you said about Dekaranger. I'm about 40 episodes in and the Voice over guy is starting to really annoy me. I don't think children in Japan need to be reminded every week about Sen's thinking pose or what it means when there judging the vilian of the week. I do still enjoy this series however it's not the best series I've seen.

I think I'll move on to Jetman once I've finished Dekaranger.

y is every one hatin on gokaigreen? hes the only character i liked, granted i never saw gai since i only watched two ep., said this f**kin sucks, then i just stopped
