ICv2 recently published an interview with Bandai marketing manager Danny Satyapan, who revealed the company's plans for a Power Rangers Trading Card Game to coincide with the release of Power Rangers Megaforce.
When asked about the game, which is due for release in February, Mr Satyapan had this to say: Quote:
The theme of Power Rangers in 2013 is called Megaforce and it’s the first time in the history of the Power Rangers franchise that the theme is about cards. Basically the Power Rangers use all of their cards, insert them into their morphers and through magic and other sorts of things, it makes them morph into different things, activates their Mega Zords and vehicles, all sorts of things.
We’re going to be creating a Power Rangers Trading Card Game that plays off of that. It’s probably the most support we’ve offered behind a CCG ever for Bandai, because it’s basically our flagship brand for the company. You can see images of the card game after the jump. Stay tuned to TokuNation.com for more Power Rangers Megaforce news in the run up to the franchise's 20th anniversary celebration! Image source: Samuraicast

I'm not even that big of a Gosei fan, but this is good news. I might actually get the morpher and a lot of those cards, given that it can actually read them. It would be stupid for them not to.

Yeah, if they go all out on the morpher and it has proper card compatibility I'm in for this too.

I am... Hopeful. Gosei Great Megazord, Sea Megazord. The fact they're taking the time to make these cards might mean a decent Tensouder release. For the first time, in a long time, I am very hopeful.

I wonder if this means we'll see an American Dice-O machine?
