If it wasn't for Steven and Rick this whole season would be unwatchable. I'm not suppossed to root for Deker to slice off Jayden's head to make the suck stop. Lauren though is growing on me. And I did like the Third Life of this weeks MoftW.

Unnecessary horse battle is unnecessary.

Also, Lauren is an absolutely awful character. If I were the cast of Samurai I'd miss Jayden too.

horse scene made me laugh. deker's horse all dekked out lol. Jayden and lauren i know their related but they both seem too woooden to be people. dekkers story seems to be more interesting than the rangers.

Lauren's the best thing to happen to this show since Deker. Considering the fact that Kaoru didn't do much in Shinkenger other than be the real head of the Shiba clan and a female Red Ranger, Kimberly Crossman is doing a surprising job with the character. While it doesn't make the show great, it does give me a bit of hope for the franchise.

well i made the mistake of checking out the wiki on her and i guess it killed her charectr and potentional for me. i'll still watch but i hold no hope of my coming around on her charecter. but id love for them to release a female red ranger stateside.

I don't know. Those two minutes Rick was on the horse were the only two minutes of any Power Ranger show my girlfriend has watched and enjoyed. I didn't think it was that bad either. Any scene with Rick or Steven is one of the watchable things left in Shinken. Samurai. Shinurai. Whatever.

...how exactly? Kaoru was the way she was because she was at the top of the Samurai hieararchy who oozed authority and to start with just wanted the job done. Lauren is a big sister who's just been displayed as some typical "badass" girl character who bonds with the rangers in horribly cliche ways. And Crossman is just as wooden an actor as the guy playing Jayden.

Now Lauren has one redeeming quality. She's better to look at and doesn't have an idiotic bowl haircut.
