This week we begin with Gou taking his rightful place beside the Gekirangers as Gekiviolet and he brings with him his own special brand of Jyuken Gattai!
Meanwhile Rio seeks more power, leading him down the path to the JyuGenKyo. Bae is separated from Mele, and only his GekiJyu Fly-Ken can save.... Gou?! Will Bae's power and Gou's Iron Will be enough? Let's Watch Jyuken Sentai Gekiranger 25-27!

I liked these episodes. Gou is a great Gekiranger and his arc is one of the highlights of the show so far. Of course, my favorite Gekiranger still has a week before his debut.
Also, Mele is still hot. |

Gou is so badass, he stole and modified GekiToujah because he believes in recycling.

Hibike! Howl of the Beast! Beast On! *ding*
So we have GekiViolet's introduction and some spotlight focus on him. The justification for him to have a different changer was a nice touch, since his Shigeki renders him unable to use the Gekichanger. I rather enjoyed his debut fight was against Mele and some Rinshi, since the new members almost always jump in to take care of the threat prior to their introduction. Gou gets some major badass points by being able to make GekiTouja on his own(red+blue=purple, clever Toei). And more points for Gon Gon Ken being on par with the Geki Bazooka when he is on his own. Jan getting worked up on how to add him to the line up was rather amusing, but also rather impressive the he knew that Gou would have some concerns about being a 3rd wheel. For people who are not Gou, it was rather anti-climatic for Rio to get Dorinki angsting about getting left behind on the power curb, but it was an eventuality to happen I guess. Natsume got some cool points for standing her ground against werewolf Gou, but she's probably used to strange things happenings by now. We see that there are a lot more Butoka and Wagataku that the two we previously saw. And we get backstory on Bae. I wonder if that was just random stunt actor with a voice over or actually Akira Ishida doing the stunt work for the flashback scene. Having him root on Gou as he fought against Long's Ki was great and touching. Also touching is that Mele cares about Bae, even if her tsundere ways won't allow her to really admit that. "Knock out!" I actually got really absorbed into Gekiranger again. I finished the whole thing already...xD
Gou's intro to the show was great. The first fight as GekiViolet was too cool.

Only got to watch 25 and 26 because of time constraints (If I had my earphones, I could probably watch 27 instead of type this out, but I misplaced them...)
Anyway, GekiViolet is badass. An awesome design for an awesome character. I enjoy that, despite Gou being the lone wolf character, his allies don't just let him sulk off alone like other shows (Both Sentai and non) are oft to do. I particularly enjoyed Jan's anxiety over how they should be lined up. That was funny. I also enjoyed that Gou was pulling the lone wolf shtick because he didn't want to ruin the Gekiranger's triangle. It's endearing and, while still a cliche story, gives him actual reason beyond "He's a loner because...Because!" I'm not a fan of Rio getting DoRinki by just being pissy over everyone else getting power ups, but I guess it sets up the next story arc well enough. Also, I really enjoy the snippets of action we see from the Kensei. Makes me curious how much they could turn the tide if they broke their non-combat vows.

Yosh!
Found the time to watch episode 27. I liked the backstory on Bae, and I find it cute that Mele won't let him die. I also liked that they worked him into the plot and didn't let him sit as comedy relief. Also, Mele was pretty hot in the past. Oh. Boy. Ken. I can't wait. :I
